"Oh, that's good, don't need anymore raiders around. The mercs my daddy and I work for normally clear out slaver nests, fight rival gangs that attack some of the villages around there."He smiles"It's fun actually."

"Scorch and I have a running contest to see who can kill the most raiders. I usually win, but that is probably because of my trusty hunting rifle. And the fact that he tends to scare the raiders out of cover." Charcoal smirks. "Balefire is a helluva deterrence from sittin still."

"I suppose it would be, fire is a nasty thing. A buddy of my dad's got inta a fight with some ganger with a flamer."He shivers"Nasty injuries, I helped the doc fix'im up but I don't think he's gonna be lookin' too good afterwords..."

"Balefire is worse. If you somehow manage to survive the flames, you are still gonna die from radiation poisoning, which is a far worse way to go, if ya ask me."

"Yeah, I know. Radioactive snow storms kill a lot of folks like... Emma and Crackshot's folks..."He looks down.

"I'm sorry ta hear about that. It is always hard loosing somepony you care about."

*looks at guard* Yeah. It was...pretty fun. Yep.

Whisper looks up at Charcoal, and sadly smiles"It's fine really, they didn't die fer nothin' they kept the rest of the squad safe, and completed the job. It happens... Right?"He forces a brave face.

*Looks at Robo*Uh, huh.

"Oh, hush, daddy. He was nice."

"Oh all right, sweetpea."smiles then turns back to Robo"I'm thinking about havin' little Emma show up, might be fun."

"I wish it didn't. But it's like my grandma always said; Hope in one hoof, shit in the other. See which one fills up first. She was a pessimistic old mare."

"Yeah, sounds 'bout right."He sighs"And maybe things will get better, eventually right?"

*lets out a breath of relief* Well, if you want to, go ahead. I've kinda been thinking about bringing Midnite, myself.

Oh, that could be fun, just make sure he doesn't get all cutesy with little Whisper, he doesn't really like that...

Clock listened to the conversation quietly. Out of nowhere she felt very odd. She looked at her hooves and saw that she'd turned back into herself.

She checked her flank. The scars were back.

And oddly enough she was still wearing a corset and socks.

A green earth pony filly starts to creep up behind Whisper when she spots Clock she blushes, then looks at Whisper and back at Clock. She puts a hoof to her mouth, making a 'shhh' noise

Clock spots the little green filly. She sees her put a hoof to her mouth. Clock smiles knowingly and nods.

Once she gets close, she hops onto Whisper's back and kisses his cheek"Surprise, Whispy!"She continues to lay on his back and nuzzles him.

Whisper gets startled by the sudden pounce and kiss, then relaxes once he hears her."Emma! Ya made it!"

She nods"Uh huh, I sure did!"

[Tytan]

"Awww, I was right. She is a little cutie."

[Guest]

Emma blushes at the compliment"T-thank you, ma'am."

Whisper smiles"Emma, this is Doc Clock. Doc, this is Emma."

"Pleased to meet you, Ms.Clock."She ducks behind Whisper's mane

"My whole name is Clockwork Apparatus, but no one calls me that. Let's just stick to Clock. It's nice to meet you Ms. Emma. Am I right to believe that you're Whispers special someone?"

Emma blushes and nods slowly"Y-Yeah, you could s-say that."She tries hide farther behind Whisper's mane.

"Emma, it's all right, she's really nice."

[Tytan]

"It's alright sweetheart. I don't bite... Okay I bite sometimes, but I promise I won't bite you."
