Azure chuckles"So, I'm gonna take guess and say that's how your mom and dad met?"

"Pfft. Not exactly. Mum was a Spark Generator technician in our Stable. They met in one of the bars while they were having drinks."

"Oh, wow, sorry for the mistake. I just figured with a story like that it was how your folks met."

[Tytan]

"That'd be a nice story. A little cliche', but nice. Now if you want a good story I could tell you about when my Dad saved my Mums life."

[Guest]

"All right, I'd like to hear it."She looks at Alex and Buckler"Not like I got some place to be."

((She just meant it as she can't really leave the patients, so a story would be nice.))

[Tytan]

"The whole story is pretty long, but here's the short version. My Dad and his friend Impact had been searching the lower levels looking for some people.

My dad wanted to take a break and visit Mum, so they did, but Mum was working and couldn't really stop. Impact offered to help figure out what was wrong with the generator. She used her personal AI, her name is Amber, to run some scans.

She opened one of the access panels and stuck her hoof in to run the scan. She triggered the mine that someone had put there and it started beeping. My dad recognized the sound and pushed Impact out of the way and tackled my Mum to the ground.

The explosion killed a technician and put my Dad and Impact in the clinic for a week. My Mum walked out the same day."

"Wow, that's one helluva day. They ever find who planted the mine?"

[Tytan]

"The explosives expert from Uncle Clips squad. That's a very long story."

[Guest]

"I... Ya know, it's probably for the best if I don't ask."

[Tytan]

"It's not like they had a choice. It was either destroy the generator so the door would open, or let the bombs in their heads explode."

[Guest]

"...... I heard the stables were messed up, but that's just takin' it a bit far."

[Tytan]

"What? Oh! Nonononono. That wasn't our experiment. Our experiment was guilt tripping the occupants into being better ponies. It worked, more or less.

I think they got the bombs in their heads from Red Eye... or maybe his predecessor, I'm not sure."

[Guest]

"Oh, well I guess that's alrigh- Wait did ya say Red Eye? As in the salver Red Eye the Little Pip killed?!"She scoots away a little"Please tell me they weren't workin' with scum like him."

[Tytan]

"Hey! My uncle was a good guy. The only reason he even considered working for that bastard is: A) He put fucking bombs in their heads and told them to, and B) He kidnapped his wife and threatened to kill her if they didn't."

Azure exhales"Well, at least it wasn't like he just joined on because he wanted to."She looks at Major"Sorry I didn't mean your uncle was bad I just don't like slavers. I've heard some stories from my dad about what they used to do to folks."

[Tytan]

"Evidently. Did your Dad have a run in with slavers or something?"

[Guest]

"Uh, sorta. It was more like raiders that got hired by slavers, he doesn't like to talk about it."

[Tytan]

"Oh. I can see why the subject of people working for slavers might be a sore subject."

[Guest]

((Okay, I should say, her grandfather was the one who had the run in with the raider's hired by the slaver's. Whisper, her dad, doesn't like them because of what they did to his dad. I think I might of misread it the first time, because I thought said did her grandfather have trouble with slavers.))

((Okay, that makes sense.))

((Yeah, sorry about that. Though I'm sure I could work with that. Whisper did fight a lot of slavers when he was younger, so he probably lost a couple friends to them as well...))

"Yeah, just a little.*She sighs*But at least they're aren't that big of a problem any more, so that's nice."

[Tytan]

"Yeah. Now all we have to worry about is raiders, bloat sprites, radhogs, radigators, prewar security systems, radscorps, rogue hellhounds, a new war, eldritch terrors from beyond the void..."

[Guest]

"Hey, radhogs and radigators are good eatin'! Radscorps ain't half bad either. But yeah, ya got a point. The raiders have started to go away though."

[Tytan]

"I wonder what eldritch terrors taste like. That could solve half our problems right there."

[Guest]

"I don't know, they probably taste like radhog."She chuckles

[Tytan]

"I bet they taste like cake. That's why they look like fever induced nightmares, so we don't eat them all."

Azure laughs"Wouldn't that be somethin'?"
