*Smile* "Yeah." She looks back towards the beach. "I'm tired, Azure. I think I need some rest."

"Go ahead, at least one of should get some kind of rest."

*Hugs Red back and nuzzles her* Me too. It'll be nice to just relax in our bed for a day or two.

"Did a long time ago. Balefire bombs scorched the trees. A few ponies came to town a few years ago trying to bring it back. I never bothered checking to see how they were doing."

"Yeah, that sounds like the place grandpa was talkin' about. Except he was there maybe forty years ago now. Is it still a small little town, like he said it was?"

[Tytan]

"People come through every now and then. Not many stay. My dad said that when they went through town their first day out of the Stable it was a ghost town. But they did find a mare named Plum Jelly from New Appleoosa... she accidentally shot my Dad in the back."

"Oww, did he say why?"

[Tytan]

"She thought he was trying to steal her rail cart. So she gave him some birdshot in the back." He turned his back to Azure. "Look, you can still see the marks."

((Yep, it's a trench coat reinforced with plates of armor from an old Steel Ranger suit.))
