Of course I'm saying no. We're way too young, and I'm not doing it when I know my parents won't give me their blessing either.
And I don't think you fully understand how much of an idiot you were. We talked about this back in Juntion City, right? My memories aren't playing tricks on me? I told you to stay away, give my parents time to cool down. I had a plan. And it worked. Then you decided to damn the consequences, even after I already told you not to, and you screwed everything up. *Rolls in bed, now facing away from him* Now I can't even go home.

((Well, that depends. What kind of handgun are you looking for?))

((A Colt 1911 model would probably be good, they come in multiple calibers, multiple sizes, and are pretty easy to clean and maintain. You could get a .45 caliber for its stopping power, etc., or a 9mm for its smaller size. But take my advice with a grain of salt, my family doesn't exactly plan on using our guns for personal protection.))

((Depends on just why you're buying it. For protection then a regular handgun of any make will do.
For show or anything like that, then you might as well go big and fancy.

Course I'm one to talk. We have a handgun you can load with 4-10 shells. It's a single shot but the shells basically have three ball bearings in them. Even if you miss, how do they know you only had one shot before having to reload.))

((Well, seeing that I've never fired a handgun, I have no experience with them. Though, the specifications of the FN Five-Seven and most of the Glock series have rather large ammunition capacities and reasonable stopping power. There's also small-caliber revolvers if you don't want an automatic, they are supposed to be easier to service and shoot.))

((For personal defense I recommend a Smith and Wesson M&P 40 personally. It's what my dad has for defense, and we both love it (plus mom actually can handle it since it isn't too heavy and doesn't have too much recoil), and it's very safe to handle and has very low chances of firing before you want it to. Just remember that handguns always come down to personal preference. Know what you want in stopping power, how it feels in your hands (how easy can you manipulate the slide, safeties, etc?) and price range. I'm partial to the .40 because it has enough stopping power to take almost anyone down in 1 or 2 shots, isn't very heavy, and has a higher capacity than a .45, but isn't so flimsy it'll fall apart or malfunction when you need it to work.))
