something's not right:

It looks like you took a human head and stuck some stuff on it. I drew a line to separate the face from the head so it's more obvious. Not sure exactly what to say since I'm art illiterate, but basically it looks mispositioned and not in 'alien species' way but in a 'that doesn't work' way. Besides that it's fantastic.

She's squinting. It just doesn't look like it because the iris and pupil are so small; ordinarily, they'd be partly covered by the eyelids. The other eye, hidden in the shadow of her mane, is omitted entirely. In the relaxed position, the eye would be sized and positioned roughly like the green outline:

The look I was going for is indeed just a tad bit grotesque. That's on purpose. I didn't want her to look a freakin' supermodel pony. I wanted her to look like a jack-booted thug who'd spent her childhood eating paint chips and headbutting walls. After seeing all these idealized versions of Blackjack, I figured it was about time someone drew one that actually looked like she'd been on the outside for a month, where there's practically zero access to running water or oral hygiene supplies. I mean, have you ever looked inside a horse's mouth? Yeah, not a pretty sight.

Oh god, can you imagine this Blackjack chasing you around Stable 99, begging you for sex? Poor Midnight.

Just be glad smell-o-vision was never invented, or you'd be inundated with the unmistakable reek of gun oil, dirty zoo cages, halitosis and cheap bourbon right about now.

It is interesting to see that the ambiance of that video, with the title menu music, would tend to give the impression that a PH videogame would be an horror game ala FEAR (but hopefully better Sweetie Belle

Ahh Fear it was a nice game fuALALALAL CREEPY SCARRY GIRL and excellent shooting controls and the slow time waLOUD SOUNDS WARBLES BLALRLGLALBLE. Some sections got a bit repetitive. But Alama got silly fast because she never did anything. Just popped in looking creepy and went on her way.

that quote was when P21 was talking to Blackjack. I think. She wanted to know why she should go on.

The quote comes from either Spike or Dealer - most probably Spike during that scene where BJ is thinking about killing herself with Folly, on that ridge over the seashore.

And what Camo meant is that he thought he knew a similar quote from a work of fiction other than Project Horizon but had no idea which.

Oh, and "only mentals, etc." seems to downplay the rest of her chem use--also, alcohol and laundry detergent, anyone (though that last one may count as a "mental episode")? Twilight Sparkle
