Well... on one hoof, I have drawn the gates of Hell, and they weren't all that cute.  However, on the other hoof, I have drawn characters from Corruption of Champions (I'd suggest not looking it up if you're not familiar with it) and had them called cute, despite having rather... exaggerated anatomical features.

So I suppose it's possible for me to draw things that aren't cute, it's just a rather rare occasion.
