@Kipper: (stuff, and going mostly un-spoilered here since you guys did) While I'm mostly am a dyke, I'm in essence/basically pansexual, so either works for me, I just have easier to relate with other girls. And it makes my "fair trade" mentality quirk easier to follow hehe. And really, I do think you guys are underestimating(?) me if you think I'd flip over that hehe. Don't be so stereotypical/generic. I would however not allow a "crowd"... that just be awkward.

As for the plea, can't watch the video due to connection - but the good news is I had another engineer round today, gave me a new (never been used) cable to feed my connection and everything cleared up - no more static sound.
I've been told that now the thing is fixed and the ISP have been told of it, they'll remove my cap once they see my line isn't faulty any more and I'll go back to normal within a week, with any luck.

P-21+Psycho+Styg: I don't see P-21 fawning over him the least. He'd need to have a reason to be interested in him. And "he's gay" is not a reason, he doesn't go hot over every stallion he sees.

What about "Styg's really hot?" Still, it is a crack ship; even assuming that Stygius is bisexual, which we've no evidence for, any possible desire for additional emotion support on P-21's part would probably be counteracted by a desire to not make things even more complicated just when he's getting to know his daughter. There's also the matter of Psychoshy, of course.

@O-hinds: (headshot) In FoE, nothing was mentioned of Pinkie Pie's office or even chair to be damaged in any way of what I recall.
The headshot part was just that a "proper" assassin to what I know would aim for the head, and Pinkie Pie was clutching her statue to the chest, making a shot to her heart difficult, plus, at her time, she seemed more craving to talk with Twilight than to die.

The office had, at some point, actually been quite nice.  A huge window gave what would once have been a panoramic view of Manehattan.  The window was shattered inward, the frame ringed with jagged glass teeth.  Four safes, blistered but intact, were built into the wall beside the window.  There was a melted desk in front of it.

In the far corner was a small half-kitchen.  On the counter, a terminal gave off a soft pink glow.  I had never seen one before which didn’t glow that sickly apple-green.  The casing was warped and charred, and it took some of the special tools I had retrieved from Stable Twenty-Nine just to interface with it, but the screen was still readable.

In the other far corner of the room, opposite the kitchen, was another blackened skeleton of a pony.  I was just sitting down to try my hoof at hacking the terminal when I noticed it, and something buried within the bones.

Curious, I got up and trotted over.  What I had glimpsed was a spot of color, clean, unmarred by the balefire that engulfed this place.  Looking closer, I could see a statuette amongst the long dead pony’s ribcage.  A young purple unicorn with pink and violet stripes in her lavender hair. Twilight Sparkle.

Quite enough damage, I think, to hide from LittlePip one bullet hole in the wall behind the skeleton. As for why there wasn't a headshot, the torso would be a larger target and, with that gun, just as valid a site for a lethal hit.

If you extend this somewhat, it seems accurate to my observations to say that a further 9% is passable, .9% is good, and .1% is various levels of worth dying for.

It took me a few years and a great deal of interaction with the rest of the world to realize: he wasn't just talking about art. 90% of everything is crap. Including people. Especially people. Give me 100 random normal people, and I will absolutely hate at least 90 of them, be okay with 9, and like one on average. Enter the internet. Suddenly I'm not dealing with random normal people, like I was at school or when driving through traffic. And I started to realize that people aren't horrible, just 90% of them. And with seven billion people in the world? There are 700,000,000 okay people. 70,000,000 that I'd like to meet. 7,000,000 that I'd love, and be willing to lay down my life for. This forum, as far as I can tell, is all from the top percent of humanity. So even though most bosses at work, almost all politicians, and generally 90% of everybody is terrible? When we're here, life is pretty good.

for me personally, I'm okay with 65% of people as long as there's no prolonged contact.

I'm okay with 40% of people with prolonged contact - I call these distant friends, work friends, circumstantial friends.
I wouldn't join a one sided fight for these people unless I was up for a fight.

I start making proper friends at 15 - 20% of people - these are people who I don't mind being around for long periods of time who don't act like absolute dumbasses or simpletons. I don't expect someone to be a rocket scientist, but to have some level of intellect that means they can talk about something other then 'the game' or what was on TV last night.
(Books are different, especially as it is common to break them down and analyse them for their good, bad and best points)
I'll often consider putting myself in minor harms way for them if the payout seems worthwhile.

I make good, trusted, long term friends with 5%, I will put my health at risk for these people to serious extents even up to death if that happens to be an unforeseen consequence.

I'll love and or die (willing/knowingly) for 1-2%




If I was in a job that required me to risk my life for another, such as the army - sure. I'd gladly put my life on the line for anyone in such a role, but not including that - the rest of those rates apply to me.

At very first around a new group I'm very shy, hell, even when I'm in my own element I watch them as I do my thing but don't make much direct contact.
I begin by giving everyone the benefit of the doubt and if there's nothing I dislike within the first two or three series of contact I'll then be ultra welcoming and while I wouldn't trust them with everything and anything, I'll trust them not to be a jackass.

I would almost start spouting conspiracy theories about Jetstream's targeting talisman and the OIA firing the first shot, but the planted bombs in Maripony and Manehattan and the whole Pink Cloud operation couldn't have been waiting in place. The MoM almost caught the Manehattan bomb in transit, after all, so this all has to have been on a Zebra timetable. Which suggests that the OIA made their move based on foreknowledge of Zebra plans...

By the way, I want to belatedly say I was wrong on the ballistic/cruise missile debate. I finally had it pointed out to me that Celestia said she flew 'between' the balefire missiles launched to obliterate Canterlot after the shield fell, so they must have been cruise missiles. End of debate.

I don't think so. The goal of Partypooper is to ensure EC-1101 never finds a valid user, which is something that could only have been started late in the game.

I'm starting to wonder if the deadman switch on Horizons was Goldenblood's final "fuck you" to the OIA.
