And I know why you did what you did to burn out your magic, and I don't blame you for doing it. But it was dangerous all the same. We've been getting by with luck so far but we can't rely on that all the time."

If this was normal magical burnout I'd be at one hundred percent in about week. But that buck made everythin' a lot worse, it'll be about a day before I can walk, it'll be at least a month before I'm at hundred percent.

Turning back go Guard, his worried look returns.
"That isn't good. Not at all. I doubt we can stall our contract for that long, and we rely on your medical magic just as much as your skill. Guess it's a good thing we got those supplies last night..."

Well we ain't got a month, the MT contract has to be completed by next Tuesday.
*Walks into kitchen and begins mixing together plants, herbs, and assorted minerals, plus a few oddball items.*

"I should be able to perform simple spells within the week if I don't do anythin' to strenuous. I just won't be levitatin' anythin' heavier then my rifle or cast a paralysis spell for awhile."
