I think we are in the same boat, Moody.Moodyman90 wrote:
I do have my issues with the ending but it's mostly that it did end. Years of forced reading at school have let me use to endings such as what FoE got and I don't mind. I know I certainly couldn't have written a better one at any rate.

Okay, this is a cipher involving keyboard trickery. The last word is 'do'. Have fun.
It only works on keyboards like mine, laptops will probably have problems.
Oh god not this again...>_<

Do these posts have character limits? If they do, then I might end up double posting whenever I post my commentaries. Hopefully that won't be a super big deal.
2)I doubt it. This is a message forum - I doubt there's a character limit.
IIRC, yes, but it is quite big. Like 64K, that would be above 10,000 words
All I hear is challenge accepted.
This chapter better be really good, I've got a challenge to beat.

Sorry, I figured I should do a cipher for those of us who couldn't do Hind's. So very sorry.

Yes, it was originally red, but we retconned it to white.SyctoHarmony wrote:Hmmm...
What colour is Blackjack's magic? I was under the impression it was red, but in the first chapter it mentions that her horn glows white.
Has it been white this whole time?

Re: [GRIMDARK] Fallout Equestria: Project Horizons Discussion
About chapter six: When I read it, it was as emotionally impacting for me as it seems to have been for most everyone else. When I've re-read it, it is still very scary and sad. But I can listen to 'hush now, quiet now' in the show and smile. I haven't disassociated the song from PH and the song in the show, but what I have done is I've decided to remember the events without the painful emotions attached to them. I'm not insensitive, that stuff was powerful, but being able to defang painful memories is a skill that I have. I don't know if it's harder for others to do so, but in my experience it does take a bit of willpower and time to do so.
Skipping IRL examples, many years ago I read a very emotional story that ended in an extremely horrible and I must scream moment. I was young and that story hurt me to my core. It was that bad. I spend the rest of the day, and on and off for the next few days, just trying to make the emotional pain of remembering that story's ending go away. I had to. And I did. I can remember the story without any pain. I can understand why, from the author's point of view, it is a 'good' ending. (I still hate that author with a passion, because it is a damn stupid point of view.) Nowadays, I have grown up a bit. I know better now when it's best to put on some heavy emotional armor. But more importantly, I've learned to heal. It's easy enough to just ignore painful memories forever, but I like being a bit more proactive if I can. I know that I had at least 200 bullies attacking me in grade school, but screw all of them! I refused to let some stupid memories of incidents years ago hurt my any more, and these days all those, well, years () of painful memories don't hurt my anymore. ...not that those are the worst memories I've had, just the most I'm willing to talk about online.
So just getting back to the 'hush now quiet now,' I'm not sure how healthy it is to be able to read through all that and not feel anything, but I personally don't think it's ok to let one's self keep the emotional wounds open when you have the ability to close it. Because then it's not so much an emotional piece of fiction that you read as much as it is an actual emotional wound.

Oh, also, I finally finished salvaging parts from that tank, since we're leaving it in the tree and all. We now have an artillery turret, and the car has a couple HMGs and LMGs on it.
