Squad Leader: *holds fingers about four inches apart* "Well, this is six inches. I've been assured of that."

Private: "That seems more like fou--"

I appreciate it, Swicked. I don't consider him calling her "clever girl" to be sexual harassment so much as just randomly talking down to her for no conceivable reason. I don't recall him acting misogenistic previously and he's strange-enough I can just as easily imagine him saying "clever boy" if someone else had replied to whatever it is he was asking that I don't remember. Followed up by, when she asked if he was referring to her, stating "I don't know, if YOU want to take it that way." or something along those lines. It was just weird and unpleasant.
Unless there's some other incident you are referring to.
Whether or not you were offended by him being a bigoted idiot doesn't really matter, he was still intentionally trying to get a rise out of you. He'd of gotten a day-long ban for what he said to to Iron, too, but he apologized and Iron forgave him so I was willing to put that aside as him just being unable to know when to keep his mouth shut no matter how he felt about an issue. He damn near comments on everything, real or imagined, stated in this thread.

The ban lasts a week. If, in a week, he comes back and acts like there will be no further consequences to trolling, then it will likely be a permanent ban. He's gotten warnings and threats for over a month and he still hasn't changed his behavior. I don't see the benefit in giving third chances here.

He did ask me to give him a picture of my face.

That said, I didn't really see what he was doing as harassment as much as just being creepy and out of touch with how most humans interact with one another.

In any event, to elaborate on my earlier comment on the Bradley, my vehicle's deadlined after throwing track. More than half the section ("belt") is warped beyond repair, the rearmost side-skirt armor panels were warped and wrenched from the hull (warping and breaking the bolts holding them in place) and the tension sprocket (the rearmost "wheel") is chipped and bent beyond use. The vehicle was immobile for over two hours before it could be jury-rigged to return less than two miles to base camp, where it now rests completely immobile until major parts replacement and service. 

Our one weakness is sand. It's so fortunate we don't operate in environments where that might be the problem.

Just have a look at the Soyouz / Vostok couple.

The Vostok itself, even if it has been modernized since then, is a design that dates back to half a century ago. It was IIRC originally conceived as an ICBM, and was turned into an orbital rocket through the adjunction of the iconic four side-boosters.

Pretty much you're right about ICBM.
There is this half-joke half-truth. In USSR Tractor factory was producing 10 tractors per month and as side production they were making 20 tanks per month.

What I'm trying to say is that durability was made to last for long time and many production lines might've been same as for making something military or expensive hi-tech. So there was consequences for making something cheap and poor quality.

He was actually fraud..sort of.
It's not 'HIM', it was him and team he was in. But they didn't receive any credit. And Soviet Union needed heroes like him, so...people started exaggerating, some papers was fabricated.
Sadly enough he died in 1977 in mental hospital. From what I gathered he was alcoholic for his last ~15 years (if not more), that's why he ended up in mental hospital.

That particular song is...interesting. Not as driving and 'huge' as what I usually listen to, but I love the distortion and bass-heavy chugging. Most of the stuff I listen to is death metal of some sort.

Today, I managed to get a new sound system for my PC, and it consists of two "satellite" speakers and a subwoofer. Total RMS wattage is 32, and the bass is ears-rattlingly powerful. Metal never sounded so metal to me.
