He's too damn good. He's pretty much untouchable, he can talk anypony into anything,  and I always imagine him doing it with a friendly smile and a soothing friendly voice.  And it just irks the hell out of me.

Yeah, I can see how he could possibly seem rather Villain Sue-ish, but I happen to love that sort of 'suave and highly competent, yet psycho' type of villain if only to see how they eventually bit the dust.

Haven't read Harmony Theory in a long time, since the last chapter came out a while back (unless I missed a new one). So, IIRC, Cash seems to fall more on the 'how good can this guy be?' (think 'breaking his enemy through talking', Hannible Lector style) side of the fence, rather than Shackle's plot-armor.

My memory is slightly hazy and I'm not sure how I'd talk about this without spoiling anyway, but I don't think that that's a concern. Max Cash is, IIRC, much better than one would make sense, but the characters notice this, comment on it, and worry about it, as opposed to how the characters in MN7 just accept Chainlink's, um, "charisma" without wondering why any non-slaves work for him.

Anyone here still play LoL? I'm done with ranked, but playing with friends has been fun over the past few days. Got to do the outplays on Veigar and Zed. Over 1k AP on the former, and I got an infinity edge on the latter because fuck it. They were very entertaining games, everyone was really nice, including the enemy team. It was what LoL should always play like, y'know?
