So, I have managed to come into possession of a Pokemon Tabletop RPG set of books.

Anyone interested in playing at some point in the future?

GM book, Player book, and Pokedex here (has like 600 some pokemon in it, all with unique stats and stuff, it's glorious)

Yeah, it looks complex as hell too.
There's like 6 player classes that branch into another 6 specializations that all have like 10 special abilities. It's rediculous.

It looks complex, but I'm hoping it's just an illusion. Mainly it's going to be a bit of a pain to keep track of not only the trainer stats, but also the stats of every pokemon you catch. So lots of numbers, but the combat doesn't seem too bad to play through.
I think the first few sessions of it would be a bit of a chore just getting everyone into the hang of it, but I'm hoping that once everyone kinda gets into it and figures out the basics it'll be really fun.

Because it looks super fun as long as you don't let anyone do the douchebag things that are possible like stealing other trainer's pokemon and even killing other trainers and their pokemon. Luckily it does say that it encourages not using those rules unless you're with people you trust not to be dickheads.

I think there are some (beside me) IT people here.

I'm already debating if I should pursue this 'pfNONSense' or try other solutions. pfSense have built-in web-interface and 100% free others..might not be free or will have wacky interface.
