That just reminds me, since the whole winter solstice 2012 end of the world thing fell through and obviously it doesn't seem like 2013 is gonna kill us, when is the next major end of the world date?

Personally I'm not sure I could read a story about a band. I just hate soul music so much. I loved small gods but that book a year later I'm still trying to finish.

I did find Soul Music to be a bit of a weak link in Pratchett's work. I remember "The Armageddon Rag" as being pretty good, though, and it's about a band. Not by Pratchett, though.
