So police officers not taking these calls seriously is something you personally witnessed? Because I'm very much doubting it. Mostly because your post sounds like it's heavily influenced by assumption.

@cb5: Police officers are corrupt and don't care about domestic violence calls? Also they are corrupt and will arrest and beat you for the slightest provocation to get their quotas meet? It seems like all we have to do is point out to them that they could help make their quota with the domestic violence calls. How could they not think of that? Its almost like the police officers you are referring to don't actually exist.

My mom got abused on a regular basis and would call the cops, they didn't give a shit even when she had marks on her. Sister got raped, the cops didn't give a shit. Another person(I can't remember their name, cause that was years back) I knew got raped, the cops didn't give a shit. It's kind of depressing how much I've seen people get abused. They didn't even take them to the police station to test if they were raped. That is how terrible living there was. The irony of all this is that to the local area it wasn't a problem that the local family shelter was packed to the brim often(yes I have been to family shelters before), cause that was perfectly okay to them morally.

That college needs to get shut down completely cause the sorts of fucked up lessons they're teaching would not fly anywhere else.

I'll admit I was wrong about the rate of how many corrupt cops there are, but that most cops I have seen are extremely corrupt I know where my bias came from.

Tl:dr; Yeah I'll admit I was wrong about how many corrupt officers there are, because yeah not every area is like where I grew up in.

Namely: no .PDFs and absolutely no .JPGs. Because I can't edit the former and I can't stand looking at artifacts on our publicity materials. =P

Huh, would you look at that! GIMP can edit .pdfs! I did not know that and am frankly astounded Adobe would allow it considering the number of hoops they make you jump through for their own products. Suppose it's because it imports them as pictures or something. /shrug Well, anyway, they're okay, then. JPGs are still right out. =P

Side note: I figured out how to play touhou on linux. Now I can dodge someone throwing a miniature sun at me without having to relog in as windows.... and yes I am playing on lunatic mode, aka "SHIT FUCKING PISS SHIT! ARGGHHHH!! I'm dead already" mode.
