Also I may dislike twilight becoming a princess, but that's cause she has no power.  Celestia has the sun, Luna has the moon, Cadance has love.  Why not princesses of like earth, fire, wind, and water.  Or even princesses of emotions like how there's cadance?  Or even negative emotions to teach lessons a normally upbeat happy show wouldn't be able to teach.  That would be cool to have a nightmare before christmas sort of thing and have a princess of fear who teaches her subjects that being a healthy individual isn't hiding and supressing your fears, but overcoming them with courage.  Or like a alicorn of anger that teaches the mane six to calm the fuck down even when their emotions are riding high and think rationally instead of letting their emotions run rampant.  It'd be cool if the new alicorns have like really strange personalities reflecting their power, but always kept their head on them and thought rationally.
