I read the ComicCon bonus thing of the Sunset Shimmer one, and it was as good as the rest of the comics. Also, I think that the writers of the show can only really say what's going to be in the show, as far as canon is concerned, so if they say that it was a one-off which won't come back in the foreseeable future, I'd believe them. If the comic people want to tackle it, I say let 'em - they've got more room to make it interesting and/or good, anyway.

Yeah, but the show's staff has non-disclosure agreements meaning if you do guess right about a future episode they can not legally answer truthfully.

All this talk about consoles vs PC reminds me that I need to show my PS3 more love.

Though really, last game I got for it was Resident Evil 6. I could be wrong but I think games like that are better on consoles than PCs, just like how games like Skyrim, Fallout and X-Com are better on PC.

Yeah, generally third person hackn'slash type games are better on consols, just because of the controler setup makes it easier.

yeah, while any kind of auto targeting system works better on consoles because having to waste a finger to lock-on with a keyboard is annoying

I could be wrong but I think it's been stated that the comics have free reign so long as they don't do a story close to what they have planned for the show or have something that contradicts the show.

You know, more so than the show may contradict itself.

So as long as the comics are covering any and everything about the humanized world, they won't show up in the show. Provided that is all true.

I think it was once said Disney did this intentionally; he didn't like those old fairy tales and wanted to make them better, in his opinion.

Yeah, but even still those old disney movies are extremely dark for children's movies.  I mean the priest dude in hunchback of notre dame sang about his lust for a woman and how if he couldn't have her he would kill and how hell would have her.  Also all the stuff about animals.  If you didn't know disney was attacked by a owl as a child and if you ever watch old disney movies and go, "why the fuck are these so mean to animals?" like how bambi's mom gets killed off right in the credis now you know why.
