Aaaand FiMFiction leadership has just done something that is pants-on-head retarded.

There's a group of stories called Five Score Divided By Four. As of now, it is banned. No new stories will be accepted that belong to this group.

This is based only on the fact that some of these stories (not nearly all of them, just the ones that are badly written or even just not progressed enough) can be considered "not related to MLP". So, because some of them are bad, there can be NO MORE of these stories at all.

One person had written 100K words on his story and was fixing errors in it before publishing, and now he just can't do it.

This is not EqD-level bad management... yet... but damn it, they're trying.

Why did it have to be the only story I'm currently following outside of PH ?!

I like all sorts of fanfics.  Right now I'm massively into romance.  I was heavily into the FoE universe, but lost interest in a lot of the sidefics.  I mean I love FoE, PH, Pink Eyes, Heroes and such, just lost interest in the others.  The only ponification fanfics I've read so far are through the eyes of another pony and mary is a mare.

I can kinda relate. Just tired of FoE for now. Reading lots of other stuff... though, admittedly, most of them are about Trixie.

Most of the fanfics I like are human x pony romance.  One of the reasons why is it's on the exact opposite of one of the biggest fuck ups to date when it has come to fanfics, misanthropic fanfics.  Human x pony romance fanfics are the most realistic when it comes what would happen if humans came into contact with mlp, cause if such a thing were to occur as a portal to equestria chances are within a couple of years people would be flipping to tmz and it going, "Welcome to TMZ! Tonight our stealth unicorn's with invisibility spells caught Celestia stealing forty cakes! Forty Cakes! That's as many as four tens and that's terrible!" while sitting next to their pony spouse and their kids.

Just read most of the secret life of rarity.
Well, read/skimmed the first nine chapters, then skipped ahead and read the last two.
I swear, I do not understand humanity.

First of all, the fic's really repetitive. Rarity's basically Dexter, knocking ponies out with syringes and disposing of them by cutting them up and ditching them. She just tortures them first... or, well, tries. She has a really short temper and is clumsy. Cuts them too deep and they bleed out, they scream or call her names and she chops off their head before bemoaning that that was way too quick. She never gets better at this. Whatever the author's opinion, this is pretty darn pointless grimdark. He says "This is not cupcakes with Rarity.", then has her think about making a necklace of unicorn horns with scalps and pelts adorning her walls. She never even appreciates them, let alone particularly remembers them. She just puts them up there to make things look interesting, best I can tell. The stuff isn't even described.

Almost every chapter is the same. It mirrors an MLP episode, but from Rarity's perspective, and if the episode had an antagonist... she kills him/her. If it didn't, she kills someone random at the end because they looked at her funny or some similar vague reason.

And people drink the crap up. It's really not that good. What's more, the author plays it off as a tragedy, and in the final chapters when exactly what you'd expect happens to an unrepentant serial killer, people keep commenting how they're crying. She's not a sympathetic character.
I'm all for the torture and slaughter of ponies, so it makes sense that I'd enjoy everyone's end. These people enjoyed her hurting others, then are upset when she is hurt. Why?
I just don't get it.

She's seriously incredibly diluted. She says things like "I don't have empathy." but is absolutely devastated by the mere idea of hurting her sister or friends in any way. Like, she cries over it.
She's just stupid.

Yikes, man. Hope it's just a freak occurrence. My dad had one of those, just keeled over unconscious for like ten seconds for no reason, and was really out of it for a few minutes after that. Nothing wrong with him, never happened again. /shrug

Just got back from Riddick, and.....well, the action was decent, but I've got to say that the writing was horseshit. And the light direction meant that 70% of the movie consisted of fairly dark shots interrupted by beams of goatfucking bright-ass light right the hell in my cinnamon tit-humping eyeballs like the fucking spear of Odin. And the lone female character was parading around with her breasts on display while everyone else got cowboy getups or body armor. And ~90% of dialogue to or from her was of a blatantly sexual nature, which gave me the impression that her character and dialogue was conceived by a 13-year-old or a Japanese man
