People in general are, it seems, just getting more 'developed'. The average height has gone up several inches even in recent generations, and this is with fewer 'outliers' who are huge compared to everyone else.

I got back from Dragon Con.

I'm alive so it was good.

Went to some of the few pony panels, where once again one of the artist for the comics said "They made Equestria Girls because of the fandom" and that "There is an entire volume of humanized fan art". And also said it was also done to compete with Monster High because Hasbro is a company and is out to make money. If it doesn't make money than it get's dropped.


I'll get into more detail of the whole con later if ya'll want. Right now I'm just gonna sit here and chill. To any and everybody who's joining in on tonight's game night, have fun without me.

I vote - even do so in a state that actually matters, as opposed to Massachusetts. Of course, America's a two party state - if you ACTUALLY want to change anything that's not an issue adopted and pressed by one of the parties, you need millions - preferably billions - of dollars. Money talks; voters walk (miles to get to overcrowded polling stations only to be told that their ID isn't valid and that they're thus disenfranchised).

Oh, yeah, conventions are a whole lot of fun, they're a place where you can totally go full nerd/geek and everyone around you is okay with that because they're all doing the same. I've been to three conventions, two years of Anime Boston and Bronycon 2012, all three were awesome.

I've been voting at every elections that have come up since I turned up 18. There's enough people that died so we as a people can have a say on our own governments that neglecting that duty would amount to shitting on their graves.

And every time I hear some asshole smugly justify his not showing up to vote with "if voting changed anything it would have been banned long ago", I have to fight the primal urge to tear off their face in a woodchipper.

Pretty much. In a larger scale that's probably in the long run going to be the thing that stops congress' gridlock. I have nothing against tea party members themselves or such, but man do they not know how to talk while on camera. What is probably going to happen is hillary is probably going to be democratic nominee and the republicans are going to run a tea partier, and that's not going to end well for republicans.

I'm not really either party, but here's my take american politics functions like a pendulum, right now or whenever there's gridlock the pendulum is stuck in the middle, until something pushes the pendulum one way or the other gridlock is going to remain. However if for either party you don't want to swing the pendulum too far in your direction cause eventually it's going to swing back in the other direction equally as hard.
