"I can get rid of them for you," Mebestien said, taking the rags. he then passed over the spell tomes. "Anything else?"

"Well. I'm new here, mind telling me some info on this town? For example, what is Mebestien Ence? I saw the sign, but haven't gotten there yet."

[XT Vengeance]

"Uh...I'm Mebestien Ence," the Breton replied, thoroughly confused.

[Katarn]

"...."
"Next time I'll tell you something like that, remind me quit drinking, okay?"

[XT Vengeance]

"Right...well, I have work to do. If you are looking for info, I'd suggest asking around, though nothing much really happens around here usually."

[Katarn]

After finishing shopping Aldarilar trotted away from shop.

Hecate tests the Saltrice, Willow Anther, Scrib Jelly, and Ash Yam for alchemical properties.

Chrystyna woke some time later to the sound of inaudible drums pounding away in her head. She rolled out of bed, and nearly onto her face. The first thing she noticed after the pain between her ears was a draft. That's when she realized that she had been nearly naked while she was sleeping in an unfamiliar bed. She partially covered herself with a hoof and found her discarded robes in the bathroom. After she dressed she went downstairs and found Suleen working the forge.

She tried to get her attention, "Um... What, uh, happened?"

The redguard mare looked up from her latest work, pulling goggles up off of her eyes. Her face was covered in soot except where the goggles had been. "Oh...uh, you fell asleep. I figured that it would be best to let you gets some sleep. Besides, I had to get started on that set of armor that I promised your nord friend."

[Tytan]

Chrystyna seemed relieved, "Oh, thank the nine. For a minute I thought I'd done something debaucherous. I mean, I guess I do like you, but we just met and I don't think I'm the type for flings," she realizes that might be misunderstood and speeds up her speech in panic, "Uh, not that this was a fling, because nothing happened. Not that I don't want things to happen, I mean I'm not even sure whether I like boys or girls. N-not that it's a problem liking either, I-I just don't know. I mean I find some stallions handsome, and I think you're pretty, uh... pretty... I'm just going to shut my mouth now."

[XT Vengeance]

Suleen sighed. "It's alright. I'd understand if you don't want to have anything to do with me. I'm not exactly the most normal pony after all," she said, turning back to her work. "So stupid," she muttered under her breath. "I should have known better."

The mare hammered at the armor a few times before turning back around. "I...I hope we can still be friends, right?"

[Tytan]

"N-n-no I do want something. I like you, I do. I just... I've never done this before. Ever. The closest thing I've had that resembled relationship outside my family was my old teacher, and he was four times my age when I knew him. I never gave any thought to... liking mares. And-and of course you're normal. You're way more normal than I am."

[XT Vengeance]

"Me? Normal? Oh no no no. I spend all of my time working the forge, trying to get better at smithing. Trying to devise new weapons that kill, and armors to protect. I hardly spend any time at all around other ponies. Hell, I'm twenty-two, and I've never even had a relationship," she said, turning back to the steel plates and continuing to shape them.

[Tytan]

"That's not that weird. There are lots of smithys all across Tamriel doing the same thing. And before I finally joined the Mage's guild I almost never left the house. My nose was almost always buried in a book while my ears were listening to my tutor."

[XT Vengeance]

"I guess." The red mare continued to hammer at the steel, shaping it with care. She turned around after a while. "I tell you what, meet me at the Halfway Inn later tonight, and we can talk. But right now, I need to concentrate on the steel."

[Tytan]

Chrystyna didn't even have to think about her answer, "Okay, I'll see you there."

Chrystyna left and went to the town square.

[Katarn]

Aldarilar approached Chrystyna.
"Busy much?"

[Tytan]

Chrystyna looked a little embarrassed, "N-no."

[Katarn]

"I can swear that store you've just walked from was closed...nevermind."
He was silent for a few moments. "I thought I'd like to know more about folks I'm travelling with. But I think it's not really fair on my side to know lots about you all and you know little to nothing about me. So how about that. You can ask a question about my past and after I answer I'll ask you about yours."

[Tytan]

"Uh... Okay, I guess. I suppose start with the obvious. What were you in for?"

[Katarn]

"Oh..yeah..that question...before I answer, I should tell what I've been doing before I got my sentence. I was travelling with group slightly bigger than ours now. We did good things...clearing our bandits nests, dealing with undead and...necromancers. I've been with them from age of 16..now I'm 27..11 years of travelling all across Tamriel and trying to do something good..not always for free."

He smiled a little, thinking about his past. "Those was good folks....I'll miss them..."

He snapped out from his memories. "Anyway, yeah. Your question. This one time...not too far away from Morrowind borders...there was small village. Rumours were, they were oppressed by some necromancer, who lived in cave near by. So we went there. Meet local folks, find out where exactly this cave is. Usual stuff like that. And then we went in that damned cave..."

"We could get deep inside and meet almost no resistance...we should've know something was off...and then it happened, we were ambushed, from all directions by undead..many undead. We tried to fight our way to necromancer, but...there was too many. Someone yelled, that we should retreat. I couldn't agree less on that. We tried, but they were too many. we managed fight our way to room right next to exit. My friends...decided to stay behind and hold undead off, while I should've get to village and either gather some help or warn them, so they could flee to safety."

"You know who I saw, when I've exit cave? Some of villagers, armed. I thought they come to help..instead they've attacked me. Somehow I managed to lost them in local woods...for what i know..they went inside caves after that. I haven't seen my friends after that..."

"Same night I've sneaked to village and set all buildings on fire..." He looked at Chrystyna "I can still hear screams from time to time...Probably not of them was involved..maybe I should've informed authorities..someone. I know that some of them survived, since short after that I was caught and sent to prison...I didn't deny anything and after some time of thinking, i was glad, that my sentence was death. I was looking forward to be punished, but...when loop was on my neck..Imperials arrived and took me with them..and that's how I've ended up on same boat you all were.."

Aldarilar sighed. "I'll understand if you'll hate me..I hate myself..hope I'll die, while doing something good..."

[Tytan]

"I... That... Not what I expected... Don't worry, I don't hate you. I just... it's a lot to take in... You can ask your question."

[Katarn]

"Also..another reason why I'm saying this to you, it's because you all, kinda, remind me of my companions.."
"Anyway..yeah..question. You were living with your parents, right? How was it like?"

[Tytan]

"It was... normal. It wasn't until I joined the mages guild did I realize I'd lived such a sheltered life."

[Katarn]

"Lucky you. I..never know my parents...I lived in orphanage..well, until I've turned 14 and managed to run away, trying to find anything, that could tell me, who was my parents. Two years of search and nothing..that's when I've meet folks I've told you about..."
"Anyway, your question."

[Tytan]

"I don't know. That's all I was really curious about. I didn't really think up any other questions."

[Katarn]

"I guess answer to your first question kinda struck you, didn't it?"

[Tytan]

"Well, yeah, kinda."

[Katarn]

"I guess if I'd tell you just 'I've burned down village', without giving you context of doing so, your reaction would've been different." He smiled a little.
"I don't mind if you tell this to our...companions. I'd like to ask few more questions, if you don't mind."

"I'm Altmer, as you can see." He chuckled a little. "We, kinda, gifted in magic..I guess any Altmer could cast some basic spells. Was your magic talent..well..was you born with it or did you study and train a lot? And what you like about magic?"
