The group finds a wooden door set into a small hill. They are right next to a long branching portion of a lake.

Ari opened the door and peered inside:

Inside, Ari can see a brightly lit cavern, the long hallway lit by a series of lamps fixed into the walls. Five Dunmer bandits are sitting around a table further down the hall near a door, playing cards and drinking.

"I think I can hit them from here." Dalamus said as he readies his crossbow gauntlet. "Anyone against that idea?"

[Ghostwolf]

Ari grinned, "Go for it."

Dalamus fires a bolt at one of the unsuspecting bandits.

The bandits quickly leap from the table and charge to engage the newfound opponents.

Ari waded in, her sword bit deep into another bandit, felling him in a fountain of his own blood, then she turned to face another foe.

The first Dunmer bandit tripped and impaled himself, dying on the spot.

The second Dunmer charged at the nord mare, but slipped and cracked his skull open on a sharp rock.

Ari stared at them in stunned silence. "Well then....a fair amount of flailing in that group."

"Let's go kill more of these bastards." Dalamus said before making to the door and inspects it to see if it is locked.

[Ghostwolf]

Ari gathered the money and carefully took the lead, weary of any ambushes, she stayed tense and ready for another assault.

The door is clearly locked (Adept lock, 55) and it also has a dull red glow to it.

[Orm]

Dalamus probes the trap.

Ari smiled at him and poked her nose thru the doorway, perhaps the ale was here, squinting she saw:

Ari sees:
Ten assorted bandits can be seen standing below a large platform. On top of the platform there are two Dunmer dressed in fine purple robes that shimmer slightly, as well as a rather large Orc dressed in Iron armor. On the platform, behind them, she can see a large crate of Matze with a white stripe on each bottle. There are also two rather large chests.

[Perception 9]The orc notices the door open, and barks an order at his minions.
"ATTACK!"
