"Pretty sure they'd be in too much pain for a second toss." He said to Aldarilar. "I'm not sure which is worse lifting a Nord or having one land on you."

Ari pondered this question for a moment, "Hmm...well if one was unpossibly lucky...unfortunate for them...yes there would be more tossing of Nords....along with a few swings of my great sword!" Her green eyes sparkled with mirth.

"Yes he was. He used to be an adventurer much like my parents, but he traveled much farther than either of them. He even spent a few months in Winterhold learning at the Mages College."

Chrystyna straightened her posture, "I will listen."

"Well, as a fellow Breton, I suppose you remember the underground slave-trade that was exposed a few years ago that was so hard for the Noble's to hush up? Me and my sister belonged to them for a while, before a kind Stallion bought our freedom. I set out to do justice on the damned slave-master, but he was also a Noble and we had no proof of his misdeeds. So I snuck into his manor and caved his skull in." 

She rolls her eyes, "But the Imperials didn't see it as justice and had me thrown in with murderers, life sentence."

"So, obviously, I'm a bit suspicious how my life sentence only lasted three years."

[Tytan]

"It is odd. They may have forgiven the accidental deaths of my fellow students, but I doubt they'd forgiven my familiars teeth marks on the guards who first attempted to arrest me."

[Katarn]

"If whoever is behind this pulled me out from gallows, I think 'shorten' your life sentence was easy for them.."

[Ghostwolf]

Ari's ears perked up at the mention of slavers....she looked at Bretons and said quite candidly, "Good...I also have no use for slavers or nobles who use that form of employment. Glad that fool met his maker early." 

Her eyes dimmed a bit as she remembered a different day."No matter a title or lands...what is beastly remains...even if you house it in finery or gold." Ari's drunken gaze turns bitter for a moment but then she brightens again, "...but even if my House is barely a whisper it will engulf the last of my enemies...the Thundermounts will meet justice."

Chrystyna balked at the nords rant slightly, "Me thinks the Lady has deep running issues."

Hecate stepped into the bar with his hood up, taking a careful look around before taking a seat in a corner, watching and listening.

[Ghostwolf]

Ari quirked an eyebrow at Chrystyna, "You judge correctly....for now any bandit or slaver I see will say hello to the business end of my blade." She pauses a moment then, "When I find the cowards who stole my family from me they shall wish they were never born to that treacherous House."

[Katarn]

"So..you're not just criminals. You got yourself into jail by either doing right thing or doing bad with no ill intent..." He said, mostly to himself.

[Orm]

Dalamus manages to hold back a laugh when he heard what Aldarilar said.

[Katarn]

"I guess not in your case?" Aldarial said with small smile.

[Orm]

"You could say that." Dalamus responds.

[Ghostwolf]

"Aye...that's why I asked of Noble houses in these parts..." Her gaze turns inward but after a moment she gives herself a mental shove. It would do no good to dwell on the past. "Hmm...well guess once we get to Balmora we will know why the Imperials wanted us released."

[Tytan]

"Understanding Imperials intentions. Now there's a lifelong endeavor."

[Katarn]

"Well, for some reason they needed here a mage student, a vigilante, drunk Nord, this guy." He pointed at Dalamus. "Me and Stripy." He waved at Hecate.

[Ghostwolf]

Ari raised her flagon in salute, "Never a truer statement spoken! Well if they want one massively sloshed nord...here she is! Maybe if I stand on my hind legs while peering into a mirror and chant, By Azura make sense! Maybe then Ill understand the vast puzzle that is the Imperial Empire."

[Orm]

"I'll toast to that." Dalamus said as he lifted his drink and took a swig.

[Tytan]

"I think you'd have a better chance of shaving a skeevers rear, teaching it to walk backward on its front legs and getting the Emporer to believe you have a disgusting husband."

[Katarn]

"That's...you've just planted a rather disturbing image in my head."

[Orm]

"Just drink and you'll be fine."

[Ghostwolf]

Ari smirked at that statement, "Well the skeever would be an upgrade as an emperor...even a semi ass less one."

[Katarn]

"I'm afraid no amount of booze will make me forget it..."

[Orm]

"Well you'll never know until you try."

[Katarn]

"Booze or shaving a skeevers rear, teaching it to walk backward on its front legs and getting the Emporer to believe you have a disgusting husband...or wife in my case?"

[Orm]

"Just shut up and drink." He said flatly.

[Katarn]

"You've imaged that one too, didn't you?" Aldarilar too a sip from battle.

[Tytan]

"It's an old joke," she explained, "My tutor learned it in Skyrim."

[XT Vengeance]

A rather meek looking wood elf came skulking up the stairs. He slunk over to an empty table in the corner of the room. He looked around, then laid down his head on the table for a short rest.
