So, this morning was fun.
As I usually take a nap from 9-12 then stay up for a while before going to bed for good, going to sleep at 11 on that schedule messed things up enough for me to wake up at 4 in the morning. Stayed up, doin' stuff, until 7, when I decided to take an hour-long nap before going to school at 9.
Mussing with my sleep schedule oftentimes leads to dreams. In this case I had a nightmare. It was absolutely terrifying, and waking up after something very strange happened was seriously disturbing to me, since I could and can still remember that part of the dream.
Plus side, school was good.

Rainbow Dash dropped by today.

I was driving a tractor out from where we was cutting down and pushing up trees when I noticed some odd clouds. Odd as in they had a rainbow coloration. Taking off my polarized sunglasses cause the colors to become less vivid but they was still there. When I got the chance I pointed the cloud out to a guy I was working with. He said he saw it too, except he wasn't looking at the cloud but rather at rainbow directly above us in a complete circle around the sun.

He later spotted the cloud I was talking about and we have a third witness of the girl he brought with him today due to circumstances causing her to not be able to go home.

But once again, a rainbow cloud and a perfect rainbow circle around the sun.

Also, I'm at that moment where I went back to edit and re-write sections of ATR only to find that the prologue has better vocabulary and description than my recent chapters.
So I've gotten even worse over time

Only on Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30 on MWF. But yes, we've got it easy here.

You haven't gotten worse. The first work you put in was a proof of concept, let's say. Like a television pilot. More work into making it shiny to hook people, even if you didn't intend for that to happen. That's what I think.

In the Heart of the Sea is a great non-fiction book, and based on the inspiration for Moby Dick and another source.

And I just found out that there will be a film adaptation with Scott Ridley producing. Joyousness.

I read that one back when I was in school and did my end-of-year report on it.
Needless to say, my teacher was a little worried about my choice of reading when most of the other students chose romance or mystery novels.

Also, I picked up The Forever War. So far pretty damn good.
