That's my entire place. There isn't the room to have everything pristine without some kind of clutter.
As for the wires - all necessary.
That's to do with my router and that's something that can't be helped. No matter what, there would be wires.

It's a setting, practically every other FO:E sidefic exists in it's own little corner of the wasteland, you're going to have to give more details about it before I can give a definite opinion

Well, I'm just a little cautious about it since it's something I've never seen much before. Sure, some stories take place in settings technically outside of Equestria, but I've only seen one go as far as using another country.

Perhaps it's a baseless fear, which wouldn't surprise me.

Anywho, I digress. The primary idea of the story is that two Germane soldiers, a very large unicorn and a Griffin, get kicked out of their settlement and decide to put their skills to work as mercenaries. Eventually they get unknowingly roped into a much larger scenario and meet more friends along the way. Initially it's just a job, but they gradually start to care about what they do. Still working out a lot of details, but that's the general idea.

Oh, it's not even in Equestria? Well, be prepared to do A LOT of world building since you can't really use FO:E's groundwork, stuff like why it's now a wasteland, whether it was in the war or not, and if not why'd it get nuked, who lives there, their customs, and most importantly: why we've never heard of it before

As for your set up, I've seen worse

It's a militaristic country that was bombed out pretty bad (3/4ths sent straight to hell), but I'm not sure if that's what your asking. Now, if you mean the theme of the story, one of those would be redemption.

That's my forte. See, often times I feel like I have my hands tied when I work with the existing FoE stuff because I'm working with someone else's system. I feel as if have a lot more freedom if I build from scratch, then go about linking things to the existing canon. I hope that makes sense.
