 Lavender hugs Red back.

Moodstone looks down.
"Sorry for bring her up. Just that dad always talks highly about your parents, and you just briefly remind me of your mom."

Whisper looked at Flea"Weren't yer fault, we both left, both of us didn't try."He whispers to his sister, then notices her confused look"What's with the look?"

[Tytan]

"Good." Aonee nodded, satisfied with the quality of his repairs. He then took his payment out of the bag of caps, which was quite a bit lighter when he handed it back to Viktor. "That should be enough to cover the costs."

"Thanks," he said with a nod, but before he left he felt compelled to ask, "Why do you repair cybers? We aren't very common."

[Aonee]

Aonee shrugs. "I've always been interested in technology and everything, so when we got the town set up I had so much free time I just kinda got into it. Helps that I have some spare caps from building battle wagons."

[Tytan]

Viktor chewed that over for a moment, "Not that different from a good friend of mine. She had similar hobbies. But her work didn't pay so well, so I was her hobby."

[Guest]

Flea's head remained hung, she knew the major difference between her and her brother was she would have been able to find him.

[Guest]

Whisper nuzzles Flea, trying to cheer her up.

Her head raised at the touch it wasn't high but it was noticeable. While her brother's touch improved her mood the action was more a show for Whisper.

Her ears folded down and she put Lavender on her back. "Speaking of your dad let's get you two back to him."

[Guest]

Whisper smiled when he noticed her head raise, thinking her mood was somewhat better, then turns to Red and the others"Yeah, y'all should probably head back. It was nice seein' y'all though."He smiles.

[Moodyman90]

 "That's probably a good idea."
Moodstone turns to the others.
"See you later Whisper, and it was nice meeting you Flea."

"Bye Uncle Whisper! Bye Aunt Flea!"
Lavender waves goodbye from Red's back as they walk off.

Her hoof waved out a short goodbye.

Red was silent the rest of the walk back to the H.O.R. The entire trip back she spent sorting through thoughts on her parents.

Upon opening the door she looked out for her boss, it didn't take her but a few seconds to spot him in his corner tinkering. She put Lavender down and approached him, her hoof tapped against his workbench to get his attention.

Once she had it she wrapped her legs around the neck of the only father she had ever known. She couldn't and wouldn't say dad, she loved and respected her mother too much to say it, but she hoped the feeling got across.

Moody barely had enough time to Red and ask "Yes?" before the mare wrapped her hooves around him. He was taken by surprise but quickly realized the reason behind the hug, having received a few from Moodstone and Lavender. He wrapped his hooves around Red as well to hold her close as a true father would any of his children. As they stood there silently Moody thought to himself, "You have an amazing daughter here Last. I did what I could to help War raise her right, but never intending to really take your place. I wish you was still around to see her. I'm sorry I couldn't stand by you when you needed it."
Tears start to form in his eyes.

Moodstone silently stands off to the side, feeling awkward and a little guilty for what part he played.

Lavender, confused as to why everypony else was being quiet and not wanting to be left out, wraps as much of her hooves around Moody and Red to hug them as well.

She stood there holding onto Mr.blues for a time before tugging away from him she gave Lavender a small squeeze as she pulled back. "Sorry Boss, didn't mean to get emotio-" she noticed the tears. "Are you okay?" she asked concern clear in her voice.

[Moodyman90]

Moody wipes the tears from his eyes.
"I could ask you the same thing."
He pulls a concern Lavender a bit closer to him to give her a proper hug and gives a little sniff.
"But to answer your question... Just that I wish Last and War was still around to see what an amazing mare you've grown into. You'll always be like a daughter to me and Emma,"

"And a big sister to me and Lavender" Moodstone weakly buts in.

", and I hope I've done enough to make up for not being there for your dad when he needed me most. As well as giving you a proper father figure, unlike how I grew up."

[Guest]

"Sakura and Crys said he killed himself. You can't blame yourself for that boss." She said bowing her head slightly. "I wish mom was around too." She frowned at the proper father figure remark. "Hey, don't talk down about yourself like that." She looked over to each of her siblings. "You're a great father figure."

Red looked at Mood and smiled at him. "And you'll always be my prankster little brother."

((The one thing I regret about Last is saying he killed himself. Honestly I was just trying to get pity points for him, now I much prefer to believe Last pretty much knew how things were gonna play out and the bullet was an apology for the position he thought he would putting his friend in.))

[Moodyman90]

Moody lets out a sigh.
"I always did tell you he died doing what he thought was right. I just feel like I could have done more to prevent his death."
Despite himself a warm smile went across his face at Red's comment as he gives Lavender another hug.

Moodstone smiles a bit himself.
" I do miss pulling pranks a times. But the job site isn't a good place for them, and Tenpony is still a bit up-tight."

Red didn't think her wife or her mother in law had a reason to lie to her but if Mr.Blues said it wasn't that way she was willing to believe him. "You'd feel that way no matter what happened I bet."

She turned to Mood. "No pink dye. It's too frilly."

[Moodyman90]

Moody gives it some thought.
"Yeah... I probably would."
He looks over to Moodstone.
"I'm glad you stopped with the pranks. I still half expect one of my toolboxes to explode into smoke."

Moodstone can't help but laugh as Lavender giggles.

She chuckled. "Boss I'd be more worried about some the things you misplace. Remember the bed springs and the oil can?The smoke bombs were at least harmless. "

Moody rubs the back of his head.
"Actually, no I don't... there's probably a reason for that."

[Aonee]

((Sorry Tytan. Hit one of the spots where I wasn't sure how to continue.))
"I can tell. It's looks like there's been a lot of tinkering."

[Tytan]

((It's fine. I'm having a little trouble as well.))

"I'm sure, but I still don't know for sure if the saws were there before or after I met her."

[Aonee]

"If I had to guess, I'd say before. The connections look similar to the other original parts that remain."
"Oh! That reminds me, I finished that boot-up sequence you wanted."
"Good." Aonee goes over to Pinkie's screen and takes out a chip, then turns back to Vik. "Yea, I've been working on this Ponitron in the shop for a while. Some mysterious stranger dropped him off. Probably should've sold it off for scrap, but something made me feel sorry for the guy."

[Tytan]

"That's good. Always feels nice to finish jobs."

[Aonee]

Aonee nods. "Yea, yea it does." He then walks out to the shop floor, over to said Ponitron, and installs the chip. "Now lets see if this works."
After some noisy complaints from its machinery, the robot slowly stands up, long-unused parts grinding in protest. When it reaches a fully upright position, an image of an old, friendly looking stallion appears on top of its head. "Checking memory status... Purging corrupted memory blocks... Memory restored. What just happened?" The robot responds with a similarly confused beep.

[Tytan]

"I think you turned on," Viktor said, not sure how else to answer.

[Aonee]

((That moment when you read it as "I think I turned you on."))
"I suppose so. Thank you Viktor. Wait, I don't see that in my memory banks..." While the AI mulls over his predicament, the robot goes up and softly headbutts Vik's leg in a familiar way.

[Tytan]

"Huh, you sound, uh... smarter than regular robots," he turns to Aonee, "Did you do that? He sounds familiar too."

[Aonee]

Aonee shakes his head while circling the robot. "No, I didn't. I mean, I make AIs, but I haven't seen one houses like this, I didn't even know it was there."
"I would help with this, but part of my data was corrupted so I can't be much of help. Most likely the only reason I know your name is my drive was most likely fragmented."
