Whisper opens his eyes and glances out a window in the clinic"...Dear Luna, it's that late already?"He yawns as he pets the sleeping Cyberdog next to him and gets off of the cot. He sleepily moves into the hallway and sits down at the desk in the lobby, grunting a little as a sharp pain runs up his side."Dammit."He starts to search his pockets when he hears a muffled whine and turns to the noise

Roxie looks worriedly at her owner carefully holding a syringe in her mouth.

He smiles"Thanks girl."He scratches behind ears as he floats the Med-x over, and injects the medication."Don't worry, I'll be better soon."

She happily wags her tail and sits next Whisper.

A tall cloaked figure pushed through the clinic's door the bell above the door signaling it's arrival. She slowly made her way to the counter missing a step and almost falling over itself once there it patiently waited for any sign of life.

Whisper gets up and quickly goes over to the new arrival after seeing her stumble"Um, howdy how bad ya hurt?"He floats over a bottle of water"Um, ya look like ya could use some."

It brought up a black hoof and pushed the bottle down the counter away from it. A violet glow emerged from under the hood and tossed it back revealing a face the same color as her hoof with a few white scars marring it. "I'm just really hungry." she managed to choke out as tears formed in the pit of her eyes.

Whisper stares at the mare's scared face looking slightly confused as he starts to remember who it is."....Flea, yer... Yer alive?"The old stallion starts to tear up as he wraps his hooves around the mare in a tight hug."I'm sorry I left. I'm so sorry."he tightens the hug and tries to keep from sobbing in her shoulder.

She coughed but managed to smile as she felt her strength returning. She returned the hug her longer legs easily wrapping around the stallion. "It's okay big brother, I had my own stuff." her legs tightened around the stallion. "I never found momma. Not even close."

"It's all right, sis. Yer safe, and yer here all that matters now."Trying to lighten up the mood he gives her a warm smile"Big brother? Last I checked ya were older then me."

"You look older to me," She said with a warm smile of her own. "bet I could pass for your daughter."

"I don't think so, well, ya could but ya'd need ta use yer magic."He tightens the hug just a little more before letting go and smiling at her"I'll have ta introduce ya ta them in mornin'."

Roxie walks out from behind the desk and stares at the mare, looking confused.

"Y-you really do have kids? I have nieces?" her smile widened. "That's great!" Flea peaked over at the strange creature watching them and raised an eyebrow. "What's that?"

"Yeah, I do."He smiles then frowns a little"Ya have a nephew as well, but I don't know what happened ta him, he just... Left."He shakes his head then looks at Roxie and back to his sister"That old girl? That's Roxie, she's my cyberdog and head nurse. Been with me fer about twenty five years now."He motions over to Roxie"Here girl, it's all right, she's friendly."

Roxie cautiously walks over to the pair and sniffs Flea.

"I'm sorry to hear that." She lowered her gaze to the floor. She offered her hole ridden hoof to the cyber dog. "Hi, you've been looking after my brother in my absence?"

Roxie wags her tail and barks happily.

Whisper smiles"Flea, if ya don't mind me askin', but how'd ya find me?"

Flea watched the cyber dog with amusement. "Oh, ugh well I went up to flankoridge and asked around. It wasn't that hard... Took me a while to work up the courage. It's been so long, I didn't want to find out you died." A smile made it's way back onto her face. "Imagine my surprise when I found out you had just left." two sets of wings buzzed under her cloak. "Didn't think I could fly that fast."

A pair of ruined glasses floated out of her cloak's pocket. "Felt wrong putting on that disguise without these."

"I bet."He looks down"Ya know, there were times that I thought about lookin' fer ya, but I didn't know where ta start or who ta even look for..."

Roxie licks Flea, then scrunches up her face at the weird taste of chitin.

"I'm not easiest person to find. Besides I didn't want you to find me, I wanted the next time we saw eachother to be when I got mom back."

She shivered at the weird sensation. "Roxie, that's the first time anyone has done that."

"Oh, I see."Whisper pulls out picture from his under his breastplate."Here, ain't as nice as mama actually bein' here, but it helps."He floats the picture over to her

She took the picture in her magic, she gave it a sad smile before hugging it close to her chest. "Thank you, so much. I'd almost forgotten what she looked like." she passed the photo back to her brother after a few minutes.

She peeked out the window. "I should probably get going. And you should probably be in bed, well unless you adopted dad's sleep habits."

"Keep the picture, it's safe with you, little sister."He smirks then looks out the window"Hey, sis, why don't ya stay with me? I don't want ta leave ya again."He then shrugs"Besides, we're a family of night owls remember?"

[Guest]

"You mean it? Thank you." she said as she very carefully put it her pocket. "And I was hoping you'd offer. Where am I sleeping?"

Whisper rubs the back of his head with his hoof"I got a cot in my office, pardon the mess, I've been stayin' there for a little bit."

[Guest]

"It's fine. I remember your room always being messy. Let's see it."

Whisper rolls his eyes"Not my fault, I had stuff ta study and not enough time ta clean."He starts walking down the hall and opens the door. Upon opening the door he notices his flask and quick magics into his coat pocket, hoping to hide it.

Flea noticed his horn flash but after three decades of not seeing eachother she'd let him have his secret.

She pulled off her cloak and put it on his desk. Her wings stretched as she let out a yawn. "Kinda cramped in here."

"I'd imagine so, ain't really like the room was made fer sleepin in."He floats a little bird plush out of toy box"Remind ya of anyone?"
