Couldn't get into any gears after gears 2. Multiplayer I mean. I think the game has become less skillful as it went on. For instance at the end of a round in gears 1 if there was two players left it usually ended in a duel with the best player coming out on top.

In gears two every match that I was a part of that this happened in ended the exact same way. One player chasing the other around the map until the chased player eventually got a slight lead and stuck a wall with the frag.

Guess you had a different experience then I did. But it happened to me every single time. Or not me as I was usually spectating at that point.

They removed the ability to stick frags to walls in Judgement. Also, I have rarely had that problem.

They did? That's awesome. I didn't mind sticking players but I definitely thought the wall sticking in gears 2 (Can't remember if it happened in gears 3. I played the MP for that very briefly.) was too much.

It stands on its own. My first reaction was similar, but less about fallen comrades and more about the effect of the drummer.

That was also my first reaction to it. Did he say why he chose not to finish it? Could have been an artistic choice. I think it has a stronger effect as is.
