Quiver checks his PipBuck map to see if the direction corresponds with the location of Brandybuck or Southbuck.

According to the map, the road doesn't lead to either of the two towns.


"I don't know. I know that Southbuck and Brandybuck are south of here, but those are a ways off. Other than that, there's Underworld, but I don't know if he would bother going there. I don't think ghouls really need doctors."

[Tytan]

"Then what's that way?"

[Ketchup]

"We could follow the road, see where it leads, at least."
Quiver says with a shrug.
"How would we recognize him?"

[CamoBadger]

"I don't know what's out that way. I've never really left this town in my life except to go hunting." She looked over to Quiver. "He's an old gentlecolt. Brown coat, thin mane, has a bad limp and he always wears a dirty white coat."

[Ketchup]

"Alright, we'll do what we can."
Quiver says with a nod before turning to the others.
"I could fly ahead with whoever wants to follow, see where it leads."

Charcoal gradually fell asleep. In his clouded dreams, he saw only he faces of the dead. Calling to him, blaming him for their deaths. He could feel the raiders chewing at his leg, tearing through the flesh. The leader looked into his eyes, and drew a spoon from his belt, and leaned closer as he-

Charcoal woke with an agonized yell of pain.

"Sounds like a hundred wasteland doctors. Still, we'll find him."

"If ya think that's a good idea, then ah suppose ya could."She shrugs

Mira shot awake and looked over at Charcoal. "What happened? Are you okay?"

[Ketchup]

"I'll be back soon."
Quiver takes off and flies along the road, keeping an eye out for anyone or signs of settlements.

The miniature Cherry didn't hear much of the conversation around her as she was currently watching the playing foals wanting to join them.

In the distance, Quiver can see a plume of smoke that seems to be coming from a chimney. It looks to be about a 3 hour walk.

Quiver returns to the others.
"I saw some smoke about 3 hours' walk from here."

[Katarn]

"That can't be good..." Novae muttered.

[Guest]

"Oh ya hear that, Jayne, yer favorite thing. Walkin'."

Charcoal slowly backed away, fear in his eyes as he cowered in the corner.

"There wasn't much, more like a campfire than a burning building, if I were to guess. We'd better get going."
He says before walking towards the plume.

Jayne shoot a glare at Shadow.

Shadow chuckles at the glare and starts walking

Cherry looks at Flea"Sweetheart, we're headin' out okay."

Clock follows Quiver down the road.

She shook her head "Huh? Oh okay mommy." she said sounding a little disappointed, she joined her mother at her side and began to trot.

Eve quietly follows the others, staying at the back of the group.

Charcoal buried his head under his hooves. "I...I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wake you," he said softly.

"Bad dream?" she asked quietly.

"I...yes," Charcoal admitted with trepidation.

The mare put a hoof on his shoulder gently. "It'll be okay, it's just a dream."

Searchlight followed Quiver. "Think we'll find the doctor there?" He asked.

"I don't know, but there's probably someone there. Fires don't start themselves."
