So, I'm wondering if I should start setting tentative deadlines for my chapters to follow. I know that people can do better when they have a date that they want to be done by, but I've never actually tried it... hm...

Personally deadlines for anything cause me too much stress. How do you tend to handle them in your schoolwork, Camo?

Because I'm all about never letting things die, I'm dragging out the discussion on Requiem again for an update.
Latest text post had this little line:

Undertakers are also unusual. We show up when ponies die or are about to die.

So at least part of the theory is correct: They do show up very near to a pony's death for some purpose, but whatever it is hasn't been directly stated yet.

I'm not exactly sure what she means by that. Some people believe crows signal a person's death.

Showing up when someone's about to die also may not be so strange unless of course they were to die of accident or homicide or something of that nature.

Someone dying of disease or age for instance, their death can be predicted by doctors.

Again I have no idea what she's saying.

Is she saying these are the way thing are? Or the way others view them?

In context, she's saying that's the way it happens. She's explaining why others are uncomfortable with her, and that's one of the reasons.
I could be misinterpreting it, but then again I'm still stuck on that letter seeming to predict someone's day of death.

With schoolwork I always get things done by the deadline. If I actually enjoy the work, I'll get it done in a good timeframe and usually finish early.
If I hate it, I wait until the last possible minute to get it done on time.

It certainly does seem that way, so much so that I feel incredibly dumb if I'm wrong.

I just can't help but think that letter is trying to mislead. Then again there has to be something else going on with the blog, right?

Guess we'll find out, think I'm going to stick with my theory until then though.

Well if they work for you I'd say go for it, usually I find whatever I'm working on I put off to the side if I ever try force a deadline. It usually results in me dropping whatever it was I was working on.

If they work for you though I guess there's nothing stopping you from giving it a try is there?

I think I'll try it with the next chapter, just to see how it works for me. If it doesn't I'm not going to rush it and screw it up since it's the last chapter of Book I in the story, and I cannot fuck it up.

I'll give myself until... May 1. That gives me almost 2 more weeks to get it done.

Camo, I have question for you. Are you sure we'll proceed on Friday? Why I'm asking. I have some chores at 9 am at work (only few hours, but still), so if I'll spend whole night for just waiting, I might be too sleepy at work. So if you have something to do, it's okay, but I'd like to know it before I'll drink 1 litre of ED and 2 litres of cola and add some coffee there :D

On another note, I have mixed news. The good is that I'm sorta 'mapping out' my own mind to get to the bottom of why certain mistakes occur, my memory is back to normal if still really derpy, and I'm getting more organized to help compensate for my ineptitude. Plus I'm eventually getting tested to see if I have a learning disability, likely dyslexia, which will shed light on stuff.

The bad news is that my new school program is going to be such a pain in my keester that I can't reliably perform in the RP, along with some other RL stuff I can't remember immediately.

In other words I will, without a doubt, have to permanently drop out. However, I do need to redesign Cast Iron and work on my other creations, so it all works out.
