Charcoal looked up from the foals. "Miri? Are you alright?" he asked, worry in his voice.

"Well I feel better," she replied. "I still don't think I like that thing though."

[Tytan]

"Your turn Cherry."

[XT Vengeance]

"I bet. I don't think I would like going into it either. I'm just glad you are alright."

She nodded and lay down beside him. "Did the foals do okay?"

[XT Vengeance]

"Yes, they did fine."

[Guest]

Cherry looks at auto-doc"Okay, deep breaths Blossom, ya got this."She walks into the machine"It's a little cramped in here doc."

Shadow looks at Jayne"If ya think she can do it."He pauses"She gonna be okay?"

[Tytan]

"Don't worry. It's not that bad after a while. Now I asked Mira before, but do you want to change anything?"

[Guest]

"N-nah. Ah think ah look good enough as is. Wouldn't ya agree doc?"She asks trying not focus on being cramped in the machine.

[Katarn]

Sigh. "Time will show...she need to understand, that this world is cruel...not like this. But at least she'll be prepared for something like that..."

[Guest]

"That it is, and sadly it's like this a lot more then ya'd think."He pauses"Sucks when it happens but, it just happens. Ah wouldn't call it bright side, but at least she didn't have family here."

[Tytan]

"Of course I do, but I thought I might as well ask while you had the chance."

Clock starts the machine, "Well, here we go."

Cherry takes a deep breath as the door closes, and she closes her eyes.

Beginning Procedure. Time Until Completion: 2 Hours.

[Katarn]

"I'm her family." Jayne said bluntly.
"We could leave fixing up gate till morning. Let's try barricade enough door. Not to the level, that we couldn't get out, but enough to hold off, for a while, if someone try to get in."

[Perception 8-2] Jayne examines the door and looks for what he could use as makeshift barricade.

[Guest]

"Oh, well, don't really know how ta word it but ya know she didn't have ta see someone she knew get slaughtered. If that makes sense."He looks at Jayne"Um, ya know we could just try ta push the reception desk over if it's not bolted down."

[Katarn]

"You have a point there...didn't think about it."
Jayne walked to desk. "Mind helping me?"

Shadow walks to the desk."Yeah, ready when you are."

[Katarn]

"Okay. On three. One. Two. Three. Push!"

[Str 6+4]

[STR 7+2]Shadow easily helps Jayne push the desk in front of the door.

[Katarn]

"There. It won't stand a chance against direct attack, but will hold off for a while...at least till morning."
Jayne smirks. "Not bad for a pony."

"Ya weren't so bad yer self. Ya know for a bird."The smirk can be heard in his voice."So, what next? Find that bar ya were talkin' 'bout?"

[Katarn]

"Eeyup. And raise bottle..or two in memories of those who died here...I hope they have some unique drinks here." Jayne proceeds to the bar.

[Guest]

"Maybe. Wouldn't know what unique drink would be but worth a look."He follows Jayne.

[Katarn]

"Unique, it's when it's rare enough to worth a fortune. Not your regular alcohol. maybe even drinks from before 'the Wasteland'." Jayne explained.

[Guest]

"Oh, well ah'll just leave ya ta know which drinks are rare then. Don't really like alcohol myself. Makes my magic go crazy."

Shadow's hood shifted as the little filly hidden within squirmed her way into consciousness.

Flea couldn't be more confused to her surroundings, she twisted away from whatever it was that was holding her in place causing her to tumble out of Shadow's jacket and onto the floor.

She shook herself and took a look around, spotting Shadow brought her some relief which was washed away when she couldn't find any sign of Cherry.

"Where's Mommy?" Flea asked Shadow in an increasingly panicked voice, thoughts of what might have happened to Cherry while she was sleeping ran through her mind.

Shadow stops and looks at Flea, slightly confused by her sudden fall. When he hears her panic he kneels down to be eye level with her"Mama is in the clinic."He says in his most calming tone"She's just gettin' fixed up from when she got hurt."

[Katarn]

Jayne comes back to Shadow after his failed attempt to find any booze in bar. "I can't believe those fu--" He spots Flower."--n poopers didn't have anything at all." Jayne kneels before filly. "Hey, kid."
