Pinnacle has seemed to want Search to join from the beginning. I imagine him to be a pretty sadistic individual so my brain is telling me a scene with pinnacle showing Search around his lair is incoming. While he tries to explain how the evil acts that go on within are in fact good.

But that's just me. I could be completely misinterpreting everything.

Any argument regarding yield and proximity to blast sites of balefire weapons would be a fruitless endeavor, and the effect of a warhead hitting something would direct more force into the target than a shockwave from a powerful explosion at considerable distance.
