"Follow me and I'll show you." Crys walks into a room and motions for Red to lay down on the medical bed. "Since it's only 1 month in, there's not much to see yet, so I'll mostly just be checking how you're coming along."

Red removed Pink's seat and gave it over to Saks before trotting up to the bed. She lifted up the blanket and crawled underneath. She rolled onto her back. "Like this?"

((Check vital signs, ask her how she's been feeling (morning sick, aches and pains, drowsiness, etc), listen to the belly to see if you can hear anything (you won't, but it never hurts to check).))

After a few moments of gathering various medical equipment, Crys walks back up to Red with a stethoscope, holding it to Red's heart. "Can you take some deep breaths for me Red?"

Red does just as her mother in law asks. "So, this how you check on the foal?" she asks between breaths.

Crys nods. "Right now, yes. It's too early for much to have developed, so I'm really making sure no complications have happened yet." Between each breath, Crys moves the bell of the stethoscope to each lung. "How have you been feeling lately? Any drowsiness, random cramping, etc?"

Crys nods. "Good, good. Everything seems to be fine. Just one last thing..." She moves her stethoscope over where Red's womb would be, placing a hoof next to it, then closes her eyes, as if listening.

Red jumped a little as the cold metal was placed against her belly but calmed quickly after. "So, everything alright?" she said with a hint of nervousness.

Crys nods and removes the stethoscope. "Yup. I was just checking to see if we could hear anything yet, but it looks like its still too early. You're perfectly healthy and the baby seems to be coming along nicely."

Red smiled at her wife and nudged her shoulder, "I think we should leave them alone. They must have some celebrating to do." she couldn't imagine what the news meant to the the pair after all the trouble they had gone through.

Red trotted to the door and pushed it open waiting for her wife to step through. "Next month I want to see you two for breakfast. No sense in worrying yourselves to death here."
