As Quiver gets out from bed, he steps on something soft...and lively. Right after that he can hear small 'Eeep!'. Bed jumped a little from hit and sound of something hitting the floor after that.

"B-bad stuff happens all the time, Mince. You can't stop it. N-none of us can."

[Tytan]

Clock was stunned silent.

Quiver stares at the floor next to the bed before crouching down to look under.
"Novae... why are you under the bed? Are you alright?"
He asks, confused.

"I could've. I had the bargaining chip, I just... wasn't smart enough. Like I wasn't smart enough for my wife..." He looks at Clock, "Maybe it's best you and Charcoal didn't get married - You'll never know the pain of being separated from the most beautiful mare in Equestria..."

[Tytan]

"I... I'll try."

[Katarn]

Novae with slightly crossed eyes looked back at Quiver. "I..uh.." She shook her head, returning her eyes to normal. "I...um...I've dropped...something. Yeah. Dropped. And tried to find it."

"I'm sorry for stepping on you, I should've been looking."
He says apologetically, though still confused.
"...Is that really why you're under the bed? What are you looking for?"

[Katarn]

Novae climb from under the bed. "Um...something. I don't know..I mean I know, but...ARUGH!!" She faceplant on the bed.

[Ketchup]

Quiver puts a hoof on her shoulder after looking at the mare for a few seconds, still confused.
"Are you okay?"
He says worriedly.

[Katarn]

"Truth for truth...? I'll answer your question, if you'll answer mine. Deal?" She looks back at Quiver.

He nods sincerely.

[Katarn]

"I was wondering for a while. Where and why did you've learned pick locks?" Novae turns towards Quiver.

[Ketchup]

"I taught myself... out of necessity. My big brother liked to play a little 'game', where he'd lock me in a closet when we were younger. The first time, I was in there for a few hours before my father got me out. Second time, I used some pins in there and a screwdriver I had brought to open the lock. Something I had read in a book."
He shrugs.
"I don't like locks, so I open them."

[Katarn]

"Well..that was...your brother did wrong. Though it gave you good and kinda unique skill." Novae sighs. "Now I guess my turn..."

"I hide there." She said, as she look at the window.

[Ketchup]

He follows her gaze to the window and looks back at her.
"...Why do you hide under the bed?"

[Guest]

Cherry looks at Clock"Good luck with, Eve, Clock."She says quietly"Well, ah should probably go check on Flea."She starts to head back and stops"If ya need any help, we'll try what we can."She goes and walks back to Shadow. She sits down and nuzzles his neck"Ah love you, darlin'."

Shadow is taken a little by surprise at Cherry, but returns the nuzzle and kisses her"Ah love you too."

She smiles at him, then gives Flea a kiss on the forehead, before resting her head on Shadow's shoulder"Think we can handle raisin' a filly?"

He looks at the sleeping filly, then back at his wife"Yeah, ah think so."

[Katarn]

"Back when I was slave..." She pauses. "There were other foals, few of them. Mostly unicorns. We all had some job to do. I was good at fixing stuff, so I was spending most of the time at workshop, if you call small shack with few tools workshop. Not hard work, I actually, for most of the time, was just sorting stuff and cleaning workshop. Others thought I had too little work. They picked on me. Not only for me been zebra, so different for them. Been from the kin, who caused this. They were angry, that they had to work, while, as they thought, I was slacking."
Closes her eyes for a bit. "This one evening, few days before Jayne won me, they chased me under the bed, on which we all were sleeping. They jumped on it for a while, getting on my nerves, but then fall asleep, so do I."
"But that night...something came and took them away. No screams, no fighting, no blood or something, they just disappeared. And i think I saw IT..though I saw only eyes...glowing eyes. I think it saw me to, but it was just for a second. After that...just silence and sound of the night. No one found any trace neither of foal neither of that thing."
Novae shivers. "From that night...if I can, I sleep under something."

[Ketchup]

He sits there for several seconds before responding.
"Th-that's horrible... like a living nightmare. It's... good that Jayne took you away from there... do you still sleep under things when he's around?"

[Katarn]

"Yeah. And when there are no things, I sleep under his wing. And if he's not around and no where to hide...I can't sleep."

[Ketchup]

"Well... you can sleep under my wing... next time."
He says with a sheepish smile.

[Katarn]

"I...I guess. If it's okay with you."

[Ketchup]

He hugs her.
"Of course it is."

[Katarn]

Novae returned hug and nuzzled Quiver's neck.

[Orm]

Exhausted from the events of the day, Searchlight put the photo back in his pocket and went to sleep.

[Tytan]

Clock approaches the masked mare, "Eve, can we talk?"

[MrMagma]

"Uh, s-sure. What's on your mind?"

[Tytan]

Clock takes a breath and looks deep into Eve's eyes, "Are you okay?"

[MrMagma]

"I..." Eve falters, and breaks eye contact with Clock. "I..." She closes her eyes, and lets out a sigh. "N-no."
