Clock turns to Searchlight, "He didn't have to propose! I'd be a little more understanding if he hadn't. They used to be friends, maybe more. That I can understand. But going from fiance to breaking up in a few hours? That's just toying with my emotions without the slightest consideration of the consequences."

[Guns 65 (60)] "Not at the moment, but from what I see it shouldn't be very hard to figure out. Looks similar to some shotgun designs back home." he replies, tracing invisible mechanics of the weapon with his eyes to piece together a blueprint in his mind.

"All right, just don't hurt yer self."

He looks up and stares blankly ahead. "Normally I would take offense to that, but that has actually happened to some soldiers."

"I'm not saying it isn't wrong. All I'm saying is at least he told you then and there instead of waiting and making it worse. Tell me, would you have preferred hearing it after a few days without getting a ring? A few weeks? Months without him bringing the wedding thing up?"

"It shouldn't have happened at ALL, Search! It's wrong on a fundamental level!"

Cherry nods in agreement."If he didn't mean it he shouldn't of said it all."

Shadow looks at Cast"Yup had a buddy that that happened ta back when ah was a town guard. Busted all of his teeth."

"Have you even considered hearing what Charcoal has to say? He came up with the plan to save you guys from the slavers, at the very least you should him a chance."

"I would have preferred a few days so he could break it to me a little gentler. And if it wasn't easy he would have waited, you know, to make sure that he was sure. Doing it that quickly just says that it was easy. I hope he has second thoughts, because there's no way I'll take him back after that."

[Orm]

"Did you think maybe he didn't know how to break it to you? Maybe he thought ripping the ban-aid would be the best thing to do."

[Ironmonger]

"I once saw a member of another squad that my brothers were working with have little mishap. Used his rocket launcher improperly and got severely burned." He chuckles slightly. "Still hit his mark."

"Good fer you, Clock. Ya don't need some jackass like that. there are much better ponies out there."

"Well, at least he hit the target. So wasn't all bad."

"Well, he was wrong. I don't care if he did spend the last eight years alone, there is such a thing as a sense of decorum."

"I'd rather die at the hands of slavers then ever tip my hat to him ever again."

"You know what, forget it. I don't even know why I thought of of arguing with you three. Just have fun with your witch hunt." Searchlight walks back into the abandoned building, and rests against the wall. Tired and annoyed, he took the picture out of his pocket and stared at it in an attempt to calm him down.

"I would've thought someone as old as Search would've understood values."

"S-some things never change, do they?" Eve says quietly, finally speaking up after the argument.

Mince spots Eve for the first time, "Hey Eve... how're you feeling?"

Cherry rolls her eyes at Search and turns back to Clock"It's gonna be all right, sugar cube. We'll help ya find somepony that'll treat ya right."

"O-okay, I guess." Eve says, pawing at the ground. "You, know, c-considering..."

"Yeah... I'm sorry that I couldn't stop it from happening..."

Eve shakes her head. "D-don't be. One of us had to go." She casts a quick glance at Cherry. "There was no stopping it."

"I'm never gonna let anything bad happen to you again, Eve..." he says, quietly.

[Per 6(10+1)]Cherry notices Eve's glance and what's her and Mince are talking about. She looks down and her ears go back.

"*Sigh* Maybe. Hopefully one that can keep it in his or her pants."

Clock notices the whole thing with Eve, "What happened?" She asked Cherry.

She continues to look down.

Quiver awakes the morning after they arrived at New Appleoosa, noting that the mare he fell asleep next to is missing.
"Novae?"
He says as he looks around the room, seeing nobody, he drowsily gets up and starts putting his armor on.
