Cherry looks up and smiles at flea"That was wonderful, Flea."

"Sorry, I couldn't help myself," Charcoal said, as he sat down next to her. "Yeah...I'm not really good with ponies," he added, kicking himself internally for not having more self control.

Flea gave a wide smile at all the compliments she was receiving she turned to clock anxious to try any other tricks she might have.

[CamoBadger]

"You seem pretty good with me and Dinner Bell," she said with a smile.

[Tytan]

"Alright, now see if you can do it with your eyes open."

[XT Vengeance]

"Well, I...I guess," Charcoal said, unsure of himself. He shook his head then wrapped his hoof around her shoulder. "I guess you two just bring it out in me."

Flea nodded and did just like she had before only leaving her eyes open this time.

The plush started to rise into the air when Flea noticed the wings weren't flapping. The filly bit her lip trying to correct this the plush floated up a few more inches after making this correction before dropping to the floor once again.

"Bettew?" She asked with a hopeful smile.

"Maybe," she told him and chuckled. "I guess I should just stick around to make sure you play nice with others then."

[XT Vengeance]

"Mirabelle...you don't have to stick around if you don't want to. I...I'd understand if you don't," Charcoal said quietly. "I just want you to be happy Miri."

[CamoBadger]

"Why wouldn't I?" Mirabelle asked and turned to Charcoal. "Besides Dinner Bell, you're all I've got left Char. I don't want to let that go if you'll let me stay."

Eve nods at Flea. "Y-yeah. You're getting pretty good."

[Ketchup]

He thinks for a moment with a grim expression on his face.
"We should go back to the Overmare, then. This way."
He lead them into the office.
"Do we have bombs of any sort in the armory?"
He asks the Overmare as they walked in.

Flea smiled and and quickly trotted over to Eve giving her friend's leg a quick nuzzle before trotting back to her seat in front of Clock.

[XT Vengeance]

"I want you to stay Miri," Charcoal said. "I...I just I thought you were...I just...I'm not very good at this, am I?"

[CamoBadger]

"I think there's a few charges. I couldn't tell you why they're in there though."


"What did you think?" she asked. "That I would just use you to get my daughter and then leave?" She gave him a hurt expression.

"We'll need them and drills, if you have one or two and those who can operate them. I'll be honest, in best case...it will seal up your stable so no one could get in or out...in worst..it will only delay attackers. There is chance that it won't work at all, but I want stay positive."

[XT Vengeance]

"No Miri! I just...I guess I have a hard time believing that anyone would want to be around me," Charcoal said, lowering his head. "I just...I sometimes feel like I don't deserve to be happy."

[CamoBadger]

"Why not? You're a good pony, Char. You deserve more than you think."

[XT Vengeance]

"I don't know I just...sometimes it feels like it was all my fault. That...that if I had been more vigilant our families would still be alive. I...I know it isn't and the raiders are the ones to blame but I just...I just can't help myself," Charcoal said dejectedly.

[Tytan]

"You're doing really really well Flea. Unfortunately this is the boring part. You have to practice. The more you practice, the longer you can do it. The longer you can do it, the more you can practice. And eventually you'll get so good you won't even have to think about it anymore," Clock grins, "It'll be like having a really long invisible hoof."

[CamoBadger]

Mirabelle leaned into Charcoal and nuzzled his neck. "Would it help to kill a few more?"

[CamoBadger]

"Drills? We don't have those."

"Okay...it's actually not okay..but I'll figure out something." She rubs her head. "Show me those charges you have."

Flea imagined herself with longer legs giggling at the thought. Her horn lit up once again and Clock's gift floated up. She had to crouch a little but she managed to get her friend onto her back.

"Fanks, Ms.Cwock."

[Ketchup]

"To the Armory, then."
Quiver says as he leaves the office and leads Novae and Jayne to the Armory. He approaches the guard, recognizing him as Jester.
"Hey Jester, I need to see the Armory manifest."

[Tytan]

Clock was glowing with pride, "You're welcome sweety. Say, does your friend have a name?"

[XT Vengeance]

"Well...I don't know. I...I guess it kind of helps. We can go out looking for some later then, if you want," Charcoal said.

[CamoBadger]

"Sounds like a date, I'll talk to the babysitter," she replied witha big grin.


"Woah, Quiver. You're back! It's on that clipboard," Jester told him and pointed to a board with a long sheet of paper on it.

[Ketchup]

"Yeah, I don't think I'll be coming back any time soon, though. We have to collapse the Stable entrance, there's a group that is after the technology in Stables, and they killed every pony in Stable 35 to get it... and they know where 16 is. There's no other way."
He gestures to the clipboard.
"Novae, take a look and see what might be useful."
