"No, I...it's about Fishermare's Wharf," Charcoal said sadly.

"What, did... did something happen?" she asked with sudden worry.

[XT Vengeance]

"I...it was attacked, and it's all my fault," Charcoal said sadly, lowering his head in shame.

[CamoBadger]

"H-how was it your fault?" Mira asked shakily.

[XT Vengeance]

"A...a raider king targeted them to get to me. He...he burned the town and captured the townsfolk. I...I had been keeping an eye on the town sporadically when...when I saw the smoke. I...I didn't get there in time," Charcoal said softly, his voice wavering.

[CamoBadger]

"Oh..." she replied quietly. "That's a common Raider activity, not your fault."

[XT Vengeance]

"Mira...he did it because of me," Charcoal explained quietly. "He...he left me a message in their blood."

[CamoBadger]

"Yes, he did it, not you." Mira scowled. "Don't blame yourself for what those animals do Charcoal."

[XT Vengeance]

"I know...I just...I feel responsible for it. I...I don't know why I even went back there. They didn't want me anymore anyways," Charcoal said softly.

[CamoBadger]

"Charcoal," Mira said softly and put a comforting hoof on the stallion's shoulder. "Don't feel that way. It's not your fault, it's theirs." She smiled deviously and leaned in close to him.

whisper to Charcoal:

"I already did Miri. I tracked that bastard down and put him down. I just...it still hurts. I'm glad I found you though...I'm glad someone survived."

[CamoBadger]

"I am too, it hurt to think that everyone I knew was gone," she agreed. "But now we're together again." The mare grinned. "Just like old times huh?"

[XT Vengeance]

"Yeah. Just like old times, only we will be getting shot at," Charcoal said with a small grin.

[CamoBadger]

"Sounds like fun," Mira replied with a chuckle.

Eve tentatively stands up and slowly makes her way back to the others, avoiding all eye contact and staying a reasonable distance away from everyone. She sits near-ish Shadow, and sighs. "H-hey."

[Guest]

"H-howdy Ms.Eve."He says nervously.

[MrMagma]

"S-Shadow, what's wrong?" Eve asks. After a moment, she internally kicks herself. There were plenty of things wrong, but she hoped he would understand what she meant.

[Guest]

"More or less. Just pissed off. Got us caught, and well...Ah'm sorry Eve. Ah tired everythin' ah could think of it just Ah'm sorry..."He looks down.

[MrMagma]

Eve exhales shakily, and considers her next words carefully. "You h-had to pick one of us. I-I don't blame you for m-making the choice that you did."

[Guest]

"S-still, shouldn't of happened."He looks at Eve"And don't expect ta be forgiven but if ya ever need anythin', anythin' at all, ah'll help as best ah can. It's the least ah can do after what happened."

[MrMagma]

Eve slowly shakes her head. "Y-you don't owe me anything, Shadow, but I'll k-keep that in mind."

[Guest]

Shadow nods"All right."He sighs"Ah wanted ta ask, ah know it might be a bit soon but ya have more of stake in it then ah do. Ah was wonderin' if ya wanted ta help me kill that son of a bitch?"

[MrMagma]

"I-I'll try. I-if not for m-myself, then for Tumble's sake."

[Guest]

"Yeah, fer Tumble."He sighs" And Eve, thank ya. Fer everythin'." He says sincerely

"D-don't mention it. R-really."

[Guest]

Shadow's Tendril makes a kind of smile over his mask and he nods"Well Eve, just get some rest okay? We're gonna need some if we're gonna go back ta the camp and make those fuckers pay."

[MrMagma]

"Y-yeah, I'll try." Eve does her best to make herself comfortable, but considering her discomfort of being around so many other ponies, she found doing so difficult. "C-can you w-wake me if anything happens?"

[Guest]

"Yeah, ah'll wake ya if anythin' happens, Eve."He nods

[MrMagma]

"T-thanks." She moves slightly closer to Shadow, and slowly falls asleep.

[Guest]

"No problem, Ms.Eve."He gives a weak smile, and starts reading from his book.
