A (New) FoE RP Planning Thread

Well folks, it looks like there has been a mighty terrible incident in the "FoE: The Kingdom" RP, that is inevitable for all good RP's. This thread is not about who's right or wrong there, what it's about is that clearly there needs to be a change of pace, separate to that RP, for everyone.

But it is NOT up to me to decide what that is. If you'll have me, I will DM a new thread, but not by my rules. The best way to make a good RP is to vote on what we DO and DO NOT want. This thread is specifically for the creation of a new RP, and ANYONE can join: New-comers, People on the 'FoE: The Kingdom' waiting list, every forum member, etc.

This is to be (at least an attempt) at a more DRAMA FREE RP. We can't burn out all the Drama, but I would like to have votes on the issues that bring it out the most.

The Setting, Time Period, Characters, everything is up for vote!

Okay - The point of this thread is to AVOID conflicts, not start them up. I'm just as guilty as the next person, I forget I'm doing it too. But downvoting the Original Post of this thread completely goes against the whole point of it. If you don't plan to get along her, don't come.

So, can we who have left the RP be told what the "incident" was?

Also, if we can do a brand new RP, I might be interested.

Maybe one thing we can do is limit the classes to more traditional RP classes with minor alterations to fit a FOE setting.
IE:
Warrior-Merc
Bard-DJ
Cleric-Medic
Thief/Rogue/Ranger-Scavenger
Paladin-Steel Ranger
Wizard-Arcane Scientist
Etc.

Given I have absolutely not followed the RP (not that I'm interested in joining this one, mind you) and I'm a bit curious, could you give a bit more details on what happened ?

I'm thinking of how put it in a neutral way.

A player character was just killed, and that became a slew of problems. Disagreements about how he died, what's fair and what's not, the way the RP is run, and fighting about us fighting.

I don't want to go into detail without the permission of those involved. Besides, it's been cleared up a lot.
