"No...no...NO!" Charcoal shouted as he started to trash uncontrollably in his sleep.

Clock sat up and tried to hold Charcoal. "Char? Wake up! It's just a dream. Please... wake up!" Clock hugs him tight.

Shadow shakes his head"No master ah wouldn't lie, ta ya."He looks at Eve sadly"Ah'm so sorry darlin'."A tendril points at Eve"Her, the one with the pink mane ain't any good."

"That so?" the griffin asked with a grin. "Put her back in," he commanded the guard and pushed Cherry back to the cage, which was closed behind her again.

"I'm trying to think of a plan." He says to Novae without looking away from his scribbles.

[Katarn]

Novae opens her mouth to say something. "W--"

"Why can't we come in and buy them back?" Jayne said while standing behind Novae. "I mean at least some of them and then storm the place."

Cherry makes her way to the back corner of the cage and curls up in small ball and quietly sobs.

[combat (2) Damage (5-2)]Charcoal swung at the enemies in his mind and missed, hitting himself.

Clock couldn't stop Charcoal from hitting himself. She tried shaking him him, "Char! Wake up!"

Eve watches quietly as Cherry is pushed back into the cage. She sighs quietly, accepting her fate. Better me than her...

"W-Wait!" Mince calls out to Cut-Throat, "Wait! I... I have a proposition!"

Charcoal jumped awake from the shock of being hit and shaken. He quickly looked around the room and saw that Clock had been the one shaking him. Charcoal lowered his head and trotted to the far corner of the room where he curled up on the floor, crying softly to himself.

Shadow looks down, defeated"Ah'm sorry."

"If it has anything to do with you instead of her, don't say anything. You don't have what I want," the griffin groaned.

"What? No." He quickly moves to the edge of the cage, as close as he can to Cut-Throat, "Listen, you seem like a respectable slaver. And I know you wouldn't want a untested, possibly gross piece of flank instead of some nice shiny bottle-caps!"

He looks panicked, "Just... Just leave her alone, and I can tell you where to find a priceless pre-war artifact, worth a couple thousand caps, right in your front door!"

"Because going in guns blazing isn't a plan. We can't risk slaves getting caught in the cross-fire."

He quickly adds, "You don't even have to sell it! It's extremely useful and you can keep it for yourself!"

[Tytan]

Clock slid out of bed. She considered curling up next to him, but thought better of it. She put the blanket over Charcoal and laid down on the couch with her head propped up on the side closest to Charcoal so she could keep an eye on him.

"Hm, tempting," the griffin tapped his chin and turned to the guard. "Take him out and find out where it is. I don't really care how you do it." He wrapped a wing over Eve and smiled to her. "In the meantime, I have a date." He grabbed her by the mane and took off, hovering for a moment and waiting for her to start flying herself.

"Wait! No! I mean you can have it for free, just leave both the mares here!" He calls after him.

[CamoBadger]

"Son, you have a bomb around you neck that I have the trigger to, along with no less than 5 other guards around this stadium. I think I can get just about anything from you."

Eve takes flight alongside the griffon, casting one last look back at the others.

"Mince... Just drop it. He destroys small towns fer fun. He ain't gonna listen."He says sounding defeated. He walks to back of the cage, and lays down. He glances at Cherry before looking down again Ah'm sorry, darlin'. Ah'm so sorry.

"I...I'm sorry," Charcoal muttered quietly through choked sobs.

[Tytan]

(Per 7+4) Clock hear Charcoals mutterings, "I'm sorry too."

"No...!" He hisses at Shadow, "I can't... I can't let him..." He sinks to his haunches, tears streaming down his face. "I'm... I'm sorry, Eve!" He calls out to her.

Cast merely makes a grunt of disdain at the scene before laying down with his head between his hooves.

"Please, Mince, just be quiet."

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal slowly stood up and made his way to Clock, his head low to the ground as tears fell to the floor slowly. "Clock...you...you deserve better...someone who...who is good for you," he said quietly. "I...I can't give you that..."

He casts a sad look in Eve's direction, but keeps his mouth shut unable to think of anything that could help the mare.
