Clock quietly laid on the ground.

Shadow casts a quick glance around the room. Then starts to read his book.

Cherry takes out the blanket and lays down next him. She covers herself and Shadow with the blanket and starts to fall asleep.

Quiver casts a gaze towards Novae and Jayne, and lays down near the door.
"We should all get some rest."

[Katarn]

Novae lies down beside Quiver. "Indeed it was long walk..we should find some kind of transportation..."

[Scyto Harmony]

Mince gets up and starts pacing. "I don't think we're managing our time very well."

[Guest]

"Mince. Sit down. We can get ta killin' tomorrow."He growls

[Scyto Harmony]

With an exasperated sigh, he curls up and broods.

whisper to clock:

"...It's like suddenly everyvun's jimmies are rustled." he says mainly to himself. He shakes his head in slight amusement and goes back to reading.

whisper to charcoal:

The cabinet Scorch was perched on groaned, it's aged wood unable to hold even the weight of the phoenix, and snapped, sending the top shelf dropping onto Cast's head.

[Ironmonger]

Cast's head drops a bit from the sudden impact of the shelf, but he quickly recomposes himself. He lets out a low growl. "And ZAT is vhy people vear helmets."

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal wraps his right hoof over Clock's shoulder.

"Squawk!" Scorch took off and landed near Charcoal.

"Sorry about that Cast. Someone needs to lay off the rad hogs," he said jokingly to the phoenix.

[Tytan]

Clock nuzzles into the crook of his shoulder.

[Ketchup]

"Maybe a skywagon or something."
He says drowsily as he extends one of his wings around Novae.

[Katarn]

"That would be nice." Novae says. She moved closer to Quiver.

[Ironmonger]

"Radhogs and vatever else he ate. Maybe a whole brahmin?" he says to both of them jokingly. "Seriously zough, new rule, don't perch right above my head. Zat could have been dangerous." he says to the bird.

[XT Vengeance]

"Kaw kakaw squawk squawk, squawk," Scorch chided the large stallion.

[Ironmonger]

"I'm just saying. Safety measures and all." he says, not really understanding the bird, but sensing he was being scolded or something.

[CamoBadger]

A scream tore through the night as the group started to wind down, coming from somewhere nearby. It faded after a few seconds and disappeared. Almost half a minute later, it steadily crept back to the group's ears, until it was all they could hear.

It came to a sudden end as something slammed into the roof of the shack, shaking it and threatening to topple the entire structure. Whoever had been screaming bounced off the roof and landed limply beside the shed, just outside the door.

[Ironmonger]

"Vat zeh hell?"

[Scyto Harmony]

Mince stares at the roof, silently. "I think the Goddesses are throwing things at us."

[Ironmonger]

"Vell zen zat's just rude." he says half-seriously in response.

[Guest]

Cherry bolts awake"What's goin' on?"

Shadow lets out a low growl as a tendril starts wrap around the hilt of his blade"Don't know just get ready, darlin'."

She sighs nervously as she packs up the blanket and prepares for whatever happens.

[Ketchup]

Quiver jumps up and quickly brings his weapon to bear.
He looks outside for anything out of the ordinary.

[Ironmonger]

Cast readies his rifle should anything happen.

[XT Vengeance]

[Intelligence 7 (10+2)] "Oh no...that...that was probably some poor soul that was caught by a Bloodwing. That's one of the ways they like to kill their prey," he said sadly. "I don't think it is a good idea to go outside."

[Katarn]

Hides her head under Quiver's wing.

"What the hell?!" Jayne jumps to the door.

[CamoBadger]

Quiver sees a bloodied and broken mare laying just at the door, blocking it from opening fully. A look of pure horror is frozen on her face.

A screech echoed from above the shack, followed by countless more as the flapping of leathery wings broke the silence following the scream.

[Tytan]

(Per 7+5) Clock could tell that it had been a pony screaming, but she was to afraid to go outside. She put her ear to the wall and listened for any signs of life.
