The ghoul growled and turned on the clone as a splintered and shattered spot on his head where a horn used to be violently sparked with energy, lifting a revolver from his side and firing off 2 magic bullets at the clone.
[TK Bullet: 10, 14 (2 damage)] [Revolver: 16 (7+1+3= 11 damage)] The attack devastates the clone, and Pinnacle reholsters his pistol before looking out to the desert. A greenish yellow glow consumed his body, and the wounds from the clone's attack sealed up.

"I know all of you are out there, and you've already killed the turkey for me, so how about you go home? No need to spill anymore of your smoothcoat blood tonight."

A gunshot split the night followed by a yell, and Blood Clot stumbled into view behind Pinnacle with blood dripping from her leg.

"Okay, I'll let her go, but only if you take her place Miss Apparatus," the ghoul called back. "1 for 1 trade sounds good right? And it's even another doctor. We both win."

"Crusher's right. Why can't we just shoot him in the head?"

Shadow looks at Crusher"'Cause it would probably piss the dragon off."

"Why ain't you shoot hostage, like you did before? You're good at doing that." Jayne said to Eve.

Clock looked on the verge of shock. Her jaw worked, but all that came out were sad little noises.

She suddenly ducked her head and vomited.

"I'd like to hear your plan." Eve counters. "Oh, wait, you didn't fucking have one. Tough shit, ponies die all the time."

"Well Miss Apparatus?" Pinnacle called out again as the revolver levitated out and pressed to Blood Clot's head. "What will it be?"

"Oh, we were working on one, while you and your friend decide that you're hardcore professionals and get hostage killed, way to go you."

"Jayne, not now. Can't ya wait ta do this when there ain't a dragon and mad ghoul down there?"

"I... I'll do it." Clock slowly started walking forward, her knees knocking together.

Pinnacle smiled and pulled back the revolver. "Well, isn't that something." He turned to Blood Clot. "Lucky you, looks like you'll be living another day."

"Didn't sound like much of a plan. Walk away, or charge straight in. She was dead either way, at least I made it quick. A rare privilege, compared to the many other ways it could've ended."

Crusher starts walking forward with Clock.
"Clock, you don't have to do this."

"Where you've be--" Jayne was cut off by Clock's response. "And what's the point, doc?"

Quiver looks on with despair and shock. He keeps his gun trained on Pinnacle's silhouette.
"Shut. Up. Jayne."

Clock turned her head back, her eyes were brimming with tears, "I can't let her die... Not when I can save her life."

Ignores Quiver. "Again, what's the point.Of course it's not like someone will miss you or been hurt if you'll die, right?"

"And what's the point of you dying when they'll kill her anyway?"

Searchlight didn't know what to do. He couldn't leave Clock to die, but he knew he wouldn't be able to kill Pinnacle. Out of ideas he turned to look at the others. "Alright, I've got an idea. If things go south, give me some cover fire." He takes a deep breath and makes his way down the hill.
"Pinnacle, be reasonable. No one else needs to die tonight." He said as he made his way towards the ghoul.

"Searchlight, don't fool yourself. Do they really deserve to live in our world, when all they've brought is misery?"

Clock glared at the gryphon and the hologram, tears streamed down her cheeks, "The point fucking being I'll save her fucking life! I won't let another pony, or gryphon, or zebra die when when there's something I can fucking do about it! NOT AGAIN!"
