Flower opens her eyes at that and trots underneath Tumble.

"All right, well ah got yer back, bud. As best ah can anyways."He says sincerely, then looks at the others"All right, ah guess we should get goin."

Cherry nods and follows Shadow.

As the group meets up about 1 mile from the town, they come to a stop.
Smoke has been visible for the past 5 hours over the town, and the light of the fire has cast a disturbing orange glow over the cloud curtain.
The dark of night hides the group perfectly from being seen where they are, and gives them a perfect view of what used to be a town.

It had been 10 hours since they ran into the caravan; the townsponies who had escaped before the attack thanks to warning from Cast Iron. Not all of them were present though, and the group was told that Cinnamon Bun, Blood Clot, Hard Cider, and a few guards stayed back to finish packing up anything they could and should be close behind them.

The group never ran into the others, and it seems that those ponies were now trapped inside Old Appleloosa as it burned.

The dragon sat casually on the old Town Hall and watched over the Reaper soldiers as they ransacked the city, seeming to be searching for stragglers and supplies. A few pony corpses rest limply on the wall of the city, their lives ended shortly after the attack had started.

In the middle of it all, the group can see two figures in the gate; one standing, and the other sitting beside them.

[Katarn]

"So..no one here to save, there's dragon and we made this all way for nothin'...I suggest we just turn around and get going." Jayne said with rather enthusiastic voice..especially about 'get going'.

[XT Vengeance]

"No. There might still be somepony in there. I'm not going to just abandon them."

[Ketchup]

"And let them kill more people?"
Quiver shakes his head.
"This needs to end... but I don't know if we have enough firepower to deal with the dragon."

[MrMagma]

"Does anyone other than me have a quiet weapon?" Eve asked quietly. She had the feeling that the unanimous answer would be 'no', but decided to ask anyway. "Might as well make use of the fact that they haven't noticed us yet."

[Guest]

"'Sides Jayne, if everyone is dead. There might be some good stuff ta sell."

[Katarn]

Looks at Char. "Kid's right, we don't have anything to take down that dragon. And charging there would be suicide, unless you have plan THIS time."

To Shadow. "No use of good stuff if we'll be dead too."

[Ironmonger]

Cast growls lowly at the idea of Cinnamon being in danger. Despite the situation, he still cares for her.

[Guest]

"That is a good point.*Shrugs*Maybe the dragon will leave."He says jokingly.

[Tytan]

"Pup."

[XT Vengeance]

"Are you suggesting we do nothing?" Charcoal says in a growl to Jayne. "Leave if you want. I am going to do what I can to see if there are any survivors."

[Guest]

Tumble summons his clone before packing the frightened Flower away. He flashes Eve his hoofclaws when she asks about quiet weapons.

[Katarn]

"Guys, get me right, I don't mind thrilling heroics and if everyone will think we're big damn heroes, it pays good in advance, but we either wait till dragon leaves..or make him leave, otherwise, we'll just die."

[Guest]

Shadow looks at Eve"Ah got a switchblade."

[Ketchup]

Quiver thinks for a minute.
"Best plan I've got is to get us flyers to distract the dragon while the rest go in to look for survivors... or loot."
He shakes his head again.
"And that still would be suicidal..."

[MrMagma]

"Think you can get over there before they notice you? I can take out the other guy, but this is kinda gonna rely on you making it there in time."

[Orm]

Searchlight stared at the burning town before turning to Jayne. "If we do nothing then anyone still alive is as good as dead."

[Ironmonger]

Cast's face hardens into a menacing scowl at the notion, but it isn't directed at anyone.

[Guest]

He nodded at Eve and patted his clone on the back.

[Katarn]

"So..any OTHER plan," looks at Quiver "then getting some of us dying?"

[Guest]

"Maybe."He says to Eve."We don't know if anyone else is hidin' though. Don't really wanna get cornered."

Eve readies her Ratslayer. "Ready whenever you are, T."

[Guest]

[AGI (8+5)] The clone quickly closed the distance between himself and the pair of guards. (20) The clone silently sunk his claws into the standing guard's neck leaving the seated one for Eve.

[11+2] Eve fires her Ratslayer, quietly hitting and killing the sitting guard at the gate.

[Aonee]

Dr. Octo makes a comment without actually appearing. "Okay, that's the two guards, we should move in now right?"

[Katarn]

"Oh this is going to be interesting..."

"Huh? Define 'interesting'?"

"Oh god, oh god, we're all gonna die."

[Guest]

"Nice shot, Eve."He looks at others."Y'all ready now?"

As the clone stabbed the standing 'guard', it realized what was happening. The one it attacked was a ghoul, that was obvious, but he barely even twitched as the blades cut his rotting neck. Pinnacle sighed and threw the clone off as a sickly glow healed the holes in his neck.

The clone didn't even have time to warn Eve that the other 'guard' had been a brown pegasus with a bag over her head before blood splattered in the dirt beneath her.
