Shadow looks up from his book and notices them leaving"Thank ya fer yer hospitality ma'am."His tendril tips his hood, and puts the tome away before following Tumble and Eve down the ladder.

"Thank you Miss Doo. I'll talk to you later," Charcoal said to the ghoul mare. After that, he left the store and made his way back to the tavern. Charcoal then made his way back up to the room. "I'm back," he said as he opened the door.

Shadow walks out of the forest and walks over to Cherry"Hey, darlin' we're ba-"

Cherry flies over and gives him a hug with her free foreleg.

He returns the hug"See, told ya. Nothin' ta worry 'bout."

She nuzzles him"Don't worry us like that, y'all were gone fer a while. Ah thought somethin' bad happened*She looks Shadow over*And ah see somethin' did."

"What? Ya mean the couple of scratches? Just a manticore, we took care of it."

She rolls her eyes"Whatever, just glad y'all came back in one piece."

Flower eyes open and she squirms out of Cherry's hooves. "Daddy." she trotted closer to the forest path. Closer then what was probably safe.

Moments later Tumble merged from the path. He spotted flower almost immediately. "I got you something." His horn glowed and out floated the claw and the offensive banner. He ripped the banner and tied one of the longer strips of cloth around the end of the claw. He then floated the make shift necklace over Flower's head. "There."

Her eyes widened ass she stared at the necklace. "Ooo."She raced back to cherry and puffed out her chest. "look what I got Chewwy."

Cherry looks at the necklace and smiles"That looks beautiful, sweetheart."

Jayne went silent for a minute. "Your death...would hurt Novae hard...and I don't want her to be hurt in any way..so it's 'no'..for now."

Rolls eyes. "Of course I do! Or do you think if I didn't, I'd be watching over her for past 12 years?"

"No, no, I was explaining why I don't think you are heartless, not questioning that."

Chuckles a little. "You're smart..maybe even as Novae, You know what's funny? She asked me the same question in...conversation like this. Only she asked for how much will I sell her."
