Cherry nods"Yup, Enclave and proud of it. Even if some of the folks in charge can be jerks sometimes. Good folks up there though."She looks at Cast"Ah wouldn't know 'bout how most of the bigger ships are, but ah know fer a fact that vertibucks are pretty tough. "An entire anti-aircraft battery, tore vat looked like a flying battleship clean in half." He grimaces. "Zeh night vas made daylight by zeh muzzle flashes. I don't zink my ears have ever rang so loudly before or after zat."

"Yeah. you're right...say, what are you doing in your free time? I mean for fun."

"Well, no wonder then. Of course an AA emplacement is gonna knock out our ships, it's been awhile since we've had that kinda fight."

"Well, I spent a while drawing maps, and writing my journal. Thinking, too."

"Thinking about what?" Novae cocked her head.

"Hmm, I suppose I spend a lot of time thinking about what my priorities should be out here. And sometimes about home. Recently, I've been thinking of you."

"I didn't get to stick around for vat happened later, vee just drove into zeh skirmish on a troop convoy." He shrugs. "Vatever happened, it vas enough for an official declaration of var from Wrought Iron himself, last I heard."

"Oh." Smiles and blushes. "I-I'm glad you were thinking about...home. F-family is one of most important things you have."

Cherry does a half shrug"Eh, ah guess they just gotta do what they need ta. Never was one fer politics and stuff, just followed orders."

"I'm being insensitive. I'm sorry. Your-your family..."
Quiver looked down and shook his head before looking back at Novae.

"Don't....worry. I...think they're fine..." Novae looked away from Quiver. Then looked back. "At least I think so..."

[Ironmonger]

"Ve did nozing but follow orders most of zeh time, so it resulted in me snooping around vere I apparently had no business. Boredom makes people do zings zey shouldn't, I suppose."

"Ah hear ya, there was tons of stuff my squad when we didn't have anythin' ta do."She says with a smile.

"Do you know where they are? Maybe we could find out."
Quiver paused.
"If you want to."

"It's been...around 12 years...they've sold me into slavery...I understand their motivation...this way they could feed my sisters and brother" Novae drifted at what of memories she have left of her childhood. "To be honest, I don't know where they are...I just know everything good with them. Maybe Jayne knows something, but really I don't care."

[Ketchup]

"Alright, that's understandable."
Quiver pauses before continuing.
"I could do with never talking to my brother again..."

[Katarn]

"Why's that? Did he treat you somehow wrong?" Novae said with slightly confused expression on her face.

[Ironmonger]

"Anyzing noteable? Squad antics are alvays amusing. Or in my case, destructive." he says with a chuckle.

[Ketchup]

Quiver sighs.
"Stable 16 has a population of approximately 800 ponies. There are about 150 pegasi, the rest are unicorns or earth ponies. My mother and siblings are earth ponies, my father and I were the only pegasi in my family. A few ponies hate the pegasi, and treat us like dirt. After our father died, he essentially joined this group of ponies. We parted on bad terms."

Cherry thinks"Hmm, there was one time one of my squad mates put hot sauce in sarge's cod piece. That was kinda funny."

"wow...that's..hard. And while I can understand why pegasi treated here as...well...dirt...I don't understand why your Stable folks would do the same."

"Something about us not belonging, and being useless."
Quiver waved his hoof.
"There weren't many, I never had much trouble with them. The odd thing is, when I told my brother I was leaving, he said I was abandoning them. A strange thing for him to say."

[Ironmonger]

"Eesh, zats painful just zinking about it." he says with a slight wince. He stares off in space for a moment. "I zink I know a good vun. One of my squadmates, our demolitions expert, rigged a fake tripwire up to a shotgun in our commanding officer's quarters. When he opened zeh door and saw zeh dud trap he squealed like a scared filly."

"Heh, that is pretty good. Ah remember one time our pilot shut down the engines once durin' a trainin' flight. She said it was just ta test how 'We reacted in an emergency' that was a load of bull, since she was gigglin' like a school filly the whole time."

[Katarn]

"I think that's strange for them to say that you're useless. From what I saw you're good doctor and about your brother...I...sorry...I don't know what to say..."

"Thanks, but when I was at home, I was a mere medical assistant, more like a student. Pegasi don't have magic that's useful underground like unicorns, and the earth ponies prided themselves with keeping the machines working. There was really no niche for us, so we kinda just floated, taking the jobs nobody wanted. Many are in Security."
Quiver shook his head.
"Pay no mind to my brother."

[Ironmonger]

He sniggers. "I vould have done zeh same zing if I vere a pilot. Once ve had a driver zat floored zeh accelerator as ve approached zeh bank of a river. Ve zought he had gone mad at first, but right at zeh last second he sverved avay. Scared us pretty bad. Germane soldiers are a very rough bunch, so you could probably imagine how much loud svearing zere vas."
