Tumble had to admit he was tempted to use his wings, but he wasn't going to leave his unicorn friend behind. "Maybe we should pick up the pace." He said quietly.

"Well, ain't they grabby?"Shadow chuckles, then nods"Yeah, that'd be a good idea."He follows Tumble with a quick trot

"No shit." Eve mumbles quietly before increasing her pace to keep up with the others.

As they speed up, the vines appear again and start to quickly follow them, each making its way at a member of the group.

[Agility 8; 9+3] Eve dodges the vines with relative ease.

"Well, lets try this out."there's a quick flash of white light from Shadow's hood and his shadow forms a barrier around him. As he keeps up his pace with the others.

[AGI(7+5)] Tumble easily dodges the vine.

[AGI(5+5)] The clone dodges the vine in much the same way.

The vines all miss and quickly retreat again as more emerge in front of the group.

[Agility 8; 6+3] Eve once again dodges the vines.

[Agl 6(10+1)]Shadow easily dodges the approaching vine

"How far is this hut!?" [AGI (1+5)] Tumble moves to dodge but trips over an exposed root.

[AGI(7+5)]The clone sees Tumble trip and moves himself between him and the vine.

Two of the vines lashed out but missed as Shadow and Eve dodged.

(7)(15: 2) The last two go for Tumbleweed as he trips, dashing at him. One misses and hits the dirt, but the final one lashed around the clone as it gets in the way.

The clone's body twists and contorts as it was folded and streched into the shapes of different creatures of the Wasteland, but never changing from its pony body; a manticore (9 damage)and a hellhound (10 damage), before finally being returned to a ponyish shape. All the while it screamed in misery as its bones were shattered and its muscles tore until it finally died and disappeared.

Searchlight searches the Paradore.

Shadow goes over and helps Tumble up"Damn, lucky ya had that clone of yers."[Per 9 (9+4)]He starts to look for the hut, or any other creatures that may be around.

"Fuck... " Was all he said. Mostly struck speechless by the clone's demise. "I'm really glad Flower wasn't around to see that." he said as he Shadow helped him to his hooves.

The final three vines spun around to double back on the group, but suddenly fell limp one by one, flopping to the ground and shriveling up.

A half-rotted, striped head poked through the trees next to Eve and looked around. "You should be more careful. Killing Joke is not a thing to play skip-rope with," the ghoul rasped with a crooked smile.

- 2 half-digested knives
- 1 half-digested 10mm SMG

Tumble turned to the striped ghoul. "Vilisi?"

"No kiddin'. Oh fer the love of Luna!"His horn lit up as he was about cast another shield spell, but relaxed when he saw the zebra ghoul"Ah'll keep that in mind next time, thanks though."

"We're still alive. I'd say we were careful enough."

Searchlight takes the Bloatsprite meat and Parador wings.

The zebra looked to Tumble and nodded. "And how do you know my name shapechanger?"

He looked as if the ghoul had just struck him. He really didn't like the idea of someone he just barely knew knowing about him. "Ditzy, told me about you." He looked at his friends. "We're looking for work." That sounded dumber then when they had first set out. "And maybe ask you a few questions."

Shadow nods with what Tumble says"Yeah, in retrospect, might not of been the best idea, but yeah."

[CamoBadger]

"Oh, how is Ditsy? Is she still running the store?" Vilisi asked but shook her hoof at the question and stepped into the path. "Nevermind, we can speak at my home. Please follow me," she told them with a grin and started down the path casually.

Tumble follows the mare closely keeping an eye out for any other dangers.

Shadow follows the zebra"Eve ya holdin' up all right?"

"I guess we've got nothing left to do here, the raiders and the bug... thing are dead. Let's go back to New Appleoosa."

"Yup." Eve replies plainly as she follows the others.

"Good ta hear, Ms.Eve."He looks at the ghoul zebra"Ma'am, mind if ah ask why ya decide ta live out here? Ah mean, ah know the wastes are dangerous and all, but ain't this place cursed?"
