"Exciting's one way to put it." Eve takes out the Rad-bloom and the rad-moss she had collected from the tree. "Managed to get these, though."

Jayne walks to Quiver's table and sits in front of him. "I see you're still here."

"Perfect! Thank you!" Vilisi happily cheered and picked up the Radbloom before shoving it in her mouth and swallowing with a grin. "Not too bad. A little spicy though."

[Ketchup]

Quiver looks up at Jayne, and frowns.
"Well, it isn't like I've got anywhere to be... did you expect me not to be here?"

"Thought you'll get the hell out from here after our little talk." Scans Quiver. "You either dumb or brave..maybe both."

"Uhhhh..." Eve looks around the room, not expecting the ghoul to eat the flower. "You're welcome?"

Visili sighed happily before looking down to the moss. "And you brought the moss, perfect! I'll mix up your potion with the hormone so you can be on your way back to wherever it is you came from."

Shadow stops cleaning and looks at the zebra"...So....We just, got ya a snack...?"

Quiver smirks.
"Perhaps so. But leaving now, leaving my friends and skittering back home, isn't my intent."
He sighs and shakes his head.
"That would put them in grave danger anyway..."

"Hm? Oh nonono," Vilisi dismissed as she tossed the moss into a small pot and poured the hormone in behind it. "It's a test I am running for a friend. The Radbloom constantly emits radiation. This is different from it's old life as the Nightbloom, when it would emit dark magic somehow. The mix of the two is interesting, as it drives most mutated creatures away, when normally they don't care. So, I'm seeing if it could have any effects on a ghoul; specifically if it can eventually return a ghoul to their old, living body."

Shadow's ears perked and his tendrils stop what they're doing"Dark magic...? What kind of dark magic?"

"Ancient, forbidden magic. Some old crazy named Sombra loved it, but everyone knows he was insane. Damn Gem hoarder is what he was."

He stares at Vilisis with wide eyes. "...You couldn't have waited until we left the forest?"

[Katarn]

"So, you're calling folks you know for how long..week? More? Friends? I think you're dumb, not brave then." Sighs. "It's your choice, I wouldn't care otherwise. To be honest? I'd leave you all long time ago if it wasn't for Novae..she's like you, thinks you all are her friends and she must help you."

Shadow's tendrils go back to cleaning"Hmmm, interestin'..."He starts to think"Anyways this experiment, is it fer miss Ditzy?"

"Why would I? It was right here, and I don't have any reason to wait." The zebra chuckled and turned to Shadow as she continued to stir the mix in her little pot. "Oh, no. An old friend of mine from before the war. Nice buck named Silver Arrow, kinda cute too."

"I was hoping we wouldn't have to deal with the vines on the way out." He raised an eyebrow at the name. "He wouldn't be related to Silver Star would he?"

Shadow continues to think about the dark magic."Fair enough, ah guess."

"There are people out here that need help, and I intend on doing what I can to help them. Call it what you will. Brave, dumb. Matters little to me."
He thinks for a moment.
"Why are you two actually here? Why does she have control over where you two go?"

"I don't think so. Unless he had kids at some point and decided not to tell me."

He shrugged and continued to watch the zebra stir the potion.

After a few minutes, the zebra stopped stirring and grinned to Tumble. "Do you want it in a bottle, or do you want it now?"

Charcoal rolled out of bed and started gathering his things. "Clock?" he asked aloud to check if she was awake.

Clock groaned and slurred her words, "Uuuuh, Ah'm up, dun hit'meh."

Looks away for a moment. "Hate to admit it, but with you, folks, around I can get more caps, than on my own. Novae...thinks same way as you, despite been pushed around for been zebra. If she wants to help and we could earn some caps...I don't mind company." Looks at Quiver for a while. "Listen, kid. Don't do good for sake of good. Sure you'll feel better inside and folks will be grateful..but. I've been here around for a while and I know how world works. You'll do something good for free and folks will be expecting you to solve all their problems for free. You'll get dry 'thanks' in best case. If you get paid for doing good, folks will remember that and will be grateful for help, but they won't be expecting you doing good all the time and solve all their problems."
"You might think I'll do anything for caps..which is..kinda right. But doing something good, when folks doesn't try to shoot you in the end..well, it builds up good reputation. But doing bad usually pays better..in the end, it's just business for me and nothing personal....what I'm trying to say, if such fancy stable pony as you want to stick here longer, then for few month..start thinking on how you'll be getting money for living. This our little 'friendly group' won't last forever."

Charcoal lowered his head at her words. "Clock...I'd never do that," he said softly.

Clock stretched her limbs which shook with the effort. When they went slack she opened her eyes slightly, "Wouldn't do what, hun?"
