"Thanks Ditzy." Charcoal sets the 220 caps on the counter and trots out the shop.

He makes his way to Boomsticks and trots inside. "Hey there Skippy. You get any new rifle mods or special ammo? Also, how much will you give me for these four shotgun slugs," he says leaving them on the counter.

Shadow walks up to Ditzy"Howdy, Ms. Ah got some stuff ta sell ya."He takes out the spark battery, pitchfork, and varmint rifle.

"Don't have any mods for your sniper, sorry. But I've got 5 incendiary rounds if you're interested. And I can give you 5 for each slug."

"ooooo, a spark battery! I can give you 150 caps for that, 120 for the Varmint Rifle, and 20 for the fork."

"Yeah, somebody really likes them and pays me a lot for them, so I grab every one I can," the mare explained with a grin. "Oh, and a switchblade will get you 80 more caps. As for magazines, I have a couple."

"Deal. I'll take all the incendiaries as well."

"Alright, it'll be 15 for each incendiary, minus 20 for the slugs is 55 caps."

Cast Iron walks past Shadow and into the shop. "Good day, Miss Doo." he says to the ghoul.

Clock wakes in a cold sweat. Her heart is trying to pound it's way out of her chest. She panicked and looked at her hoof, which was still firmly attached to her body, and she felt for her eye, which was still in its socket.

She shivered violently. She never liked diving peoples heads. They were too chaotic, and prone to forcing experiences. She had to be extra careful when she was performing one... and she hadn't been.

She wanted to apologize to Charcoal again, she hadn't meant to pry. It was an accident.

He was gone...

Where is he? His stuff is gone. Oh goddess... He left me! No no no no no no. I broke his trust and he left me! Goddess damn me I'm so stupid! I couldn't just leave it alone! FUCK! Fuck fuck fuck... fuck......fuck.

Clock sobs. She'd had something wonderful and she went and fucked it up. She didn't resent Charcoal, he had every right to be mad at her. She'd pried into his past. It'd been an accident, but still!

She's too awake to go back to sleep, and she's too depressed to get out of bed. She curls up in a fetal ball and periodically sobs to herself.

"Here you go." Charcoal passes Searchlight the copy of Swinging for the Fences.

He places the 55 caps on the counter. "Sounds like a good deal to me."

He turns to Shadow. "I'm from Manehattan."

Searchlight floats the book into his bag. "Thanks." He says to Charcoal.

"I have a few things. What kind of gift are you looking for?" she asked with a smile.

"Hey, that's what friends are for," he says to Searchlight.

"No. Any slavers I found, I killed."
