I played the MGS rising demo and damn it's actually a pretty solid fighter it can be tough but it's fair for the most part. Admittedly the blade mode is a little gimmicky.

My dad had me fire a 12 gauge and I was much younger then that. The thing knocked me right on my ass.

I think we were using slugs or buckshot. I wasn't told much about it, so every time it fired I dropped the gun because I was spooked, and it felt like a crowbar in my shoulder. He'd just stand there saying "Stop being a wuss."

I'm just kidding, but I did think that was a belittlement at first. Back then I was a weak and ignorant prick, now I'm bigger than most people so I should be able to handle the recoil better. I'm just generally wary of shotguns because of their kick.

Break-actions have bad recoil anyway, so I hear.

yeah the friend I went shooting with has some incendiaries left over from the when his grandfather seized the weapon. He's only ever fired one, and set fire to the shooting range. they put it out and it was after hours

Funny, the first time I fired a shotgun I wasn't holding it tight enough. I'm lucky I didn't break my nose or something because my arm ended up coming back and hitting me in the face.

Course if it hadn't had been my arm then the gun itself would have hit.

With my luck and how I'm usually injured it wouldn't have been worse then a bruise on my face and maybe bleeding gums and lips.

I honestly don't know what all my dad owns gun wise. I know of the AR-15, the 410 single shot pistol and a few other revolvers and handguns, but I don't know how many rifles and shotguns we have.
