Tumble stepped into the general store a slight smile crossed his face. Learning he could leave his daughter with someone had done him good.

Flower was floated on to the counter she didn't look too happy about getting her armor back.

"Oh...um...we...we'll try," he says, backing out of the store in embarrassment.

[MrMagma]

"I'll just have three bottles of water. How much?"

[Ketchup]

Quiver stuffs his paper in his saddlebags.
"Sure Painkiller, maybe there's something we can help with."

[CamoBadger]

"Three bottles of water is 36 caps," the mare replied with a grin.

[MrMagma]

Eve said nothing, and rummaged through her bags, gathering 36 caps and placing them on the counter.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

The three ponies rise as one, Painkiller leads the way to the Guard's offices.

"I would speak to the captain, the bartender mentioned he needed something/."

Clock follows Charcoal out, her head ducked low.

[CamoBadger]

"Anything else you need?" she asked as she placed the bottles on the counter.


The biggest of the ponies stood up and trotted to them. "You the group who helped out Freemane?" he asked them roughly.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"We did with others, yes." Painkiller answers straight forwardly.

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal is silent for a minute or two before he put his hoof over Clock's shoulder. "Lets go get you that barding, eh?" he asks, trying to forget the embarrassment. He starts to lead Clock to the general store.

[CamoBadger]

"Excellent, then you're just the ponies I wanted to see. After your escapade, the townsfolk, mostly shop keepers, have decided you might be the perfect help to get our supply lines from New Appleloosa running again." He paused and lifted a piece of paper in his magic. "It seems that a band of raiders has taken to robbing and killing any caravans passing between the towns, and we'd like you to clear them out."

[MrMagma]

"Actually...you wouldn't happen to have anything in the way of armour, would you?" Eve collected the bottles and placed them in her bags.

[Ketchup]

Quiver turns to the others.
"Sounds dangerous. Perhaps we should get some of the others?"

[CamoBadger]

"Yeah, I've got three sets of leather armor if you're interested. 120 caps."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller takes the paper and examines it. "What kind of intelligence do you have on these raiders? Numbers, species, armaments, behaviors?"

[CamoBadger]

General nodded and passed the caps across the counter in return for the shotgun. "Anything else I can do for you?"


The Guard Captain shook his head. "Not much. Numbers are a lot. Species is assholes of all types. Armament is a lot of firepower and nasty clubs. Behavior is asshole."

[MrMagma]

"I've got caps to spare. Why not." She passed another 120 caps over the counter.

[Tytan]

Clock was similarly trying to forget the embarassment, "Yeah, okay." Clock follows him to the general store.

[CamoBadger]

"Here ya go." She pulled down a set of armor and passed it to Eve. "I hope you won't need it too much."

[Orm]

Searchlight takes the caps off the counter. "You have any special ammo for this?" He places his .357 revolver on the counter.

[CamoBadger]

"Hm... Don't think I do, sorry," General told Searchlight with a little frown.

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal leads the mare over to the general store, trotting in through the door. "Hey there Cinnamon," he says to the brown pegasus behind the counter.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller stops himself from putting a hoof to his own face, "Alright thanks captain. We'll see about getting this done."

As he leaves the Guard house he mutters to himself, "Perhaps intelligence was too strong of a word to use around him."

"I think we are going to need some more help to get this done. Quiver ask around would you? Novae, you think you could get Jayne?"

[Ketchup]

"I'm sure Charcoal would jump at this chance. He's pretty keen on killing raiders..."

[Katarn]

"I could get dad to tag along..what reward for doing this anyway?" Novae asks Capitan, almost finishing her bottle of cola. Some of 'mustache' is still a little visible on her face.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

This time Painkiller actually does facehoof, he id not ask. He pulls up the paper, checking to see if it has a reward listed on it.

Eve grabbed the armour, and walked out of the store, ignoring the others as she walked out. She made her way down a nearby alley, and shrugged off her previous attire, stashing it in her bags. It wasn't something she would get rid of so easily. She put on the armour. It was a near perfect fit. She made her way back out onto the streets of the town, heading nowhere in particular.

"I don't care as much about the reward as I do about opening that route."
Quiver trots off to find Charcoal, starting with the gun store.

At the bottom of the paper is a short statement with a signature beside each reward.

In return for restoring trade with New Appleloosa by destroying the raiders along the highway, we hereby agree to:
- Offer lower prices to all that help Cinnamon Bun
- Buy products from those involved at higher rates General
- Keep an open room for those involved, free of charge Night Light
- Give 1 free drink each night to all those involved Hard Cider
- Give a payment of 500 caps to each involved for lowering raider presence in the area Bronze Star - Captain of the Guard
