The group leaves town and hits the highway, trotting down the road toward New Appleloosa while keeping an eye out for raiders. They pass a few burnt caravans as they travel, all of the pack brahmin, traders and guards with them completely picked clean of anything they were carrying. The attacks seem to be closer together as the group nears the place where Fiddler's Hoof once stood.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller speaks, "I've got a bad feeling about this, is Scortch watching out for us over head?" He asks

[XT Vengeance]

"My guess is they are nearby. Scorch, go check it out," he says to his feathered friend.

Scorch soars into the sky, seaching for any sign of enemy contact. [Spot check Perception 10 (9)]

[CamoBadger]

Scorch spots a cluster of raiders camping out in a ditch not far ahead of the group. All of their rifles are aimed down the road in wait for the group. Behind the group he notices a larger cluster that had been waiting for them to pass, now sneaking up on the team and ready to pounce once the first cluster opened fire.

[Guest]

He looked around trying to spot anything the raiders might have left behind.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller stops walking, "Well, what does he see?" He asks Charcoal.

[XT Vengeance]

"Squawk!" Scorch says to Charcoal as he swoops back to him.

"Get down! Ambush!" Charcoal drops to the ground.

[Orm]

Searchlight goes behind cover and readies his revolver.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller dives for cover in the debris along the road.

[Tytan]

Viktor dives to the ground, covering Clock with his own body.

[All attacks meant for Clock target Viktor.]

[Guest]

Tumble drops to his stomach and crawls behind an overturned wagon.

[MrMagma]

lEve dives for the nearest cover, which happens to be a small crater in the road, barely large enough to fit herself into, with some breathing room.

As the group dove into cover, the road in front of them lit up with gunfire as the raiders in front of them started shooting.

Bullets blazed through the night at the team as they took cover from the 9 enemies ahead of the group. Two shots got lucky and dug into Viktor and Novae. (Viktor: 111/120HP) (Novae: 117/120HP)
The shots that didn't hit flew into the distance hitting nothing. 3 screams of pain echo from behind the team as the raiders sneaking up on them are hit by stray shots.

[combat (13+4)-5]Charcoal fires a shot, killing a raider that poked it's head out of cover, its brain splattering all over the cart.

[Agility 10 (8+5)][combat (18+2)(9+2)(6+2)]Scorch soars over the cover, spraying the raiders with flame, he ignites two of them but misses the third.

[combat (3+3)-5]Quiver fires a burst from his smg, but the shots go wild.

Searchlight fires at one of the raiders coming from behind. The raider gets hit by the shot, and falls to the ground.

[combat( 12-5)] Tumble fires at one of the raiders ahead of him but misses completely. "Dammit." he muttered as he ejected the smoking shell.

[Tytan]

(16) Clock fired at the attackers. (7+5)

(16) Viktor grabs a chunk of pavement and throws it at the attackers. Crushing one of their skulls. (6+2)

[17+1] Eve fires at one of the raiders approaching from behind. The bolt finds its mark, and a raider drops.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Jayne starts to fire at the forward group. [combat 3-5][3] He reloads his empty magazine and tries again

Novae throws a stick of dynamite at the rear group. [combat 9] It lands short. [agility 8 roll 4+4=8] She tosses another stick at the rear group [Combat 15][2]

Painkiller moves up to the front group for an attack. [Combat 6-5] He can't get an angle on their cover. [agility 7 rolls 3+2] He can't get a good footing to go around for another attack.

[Aonee]

(17-5)Crusher fires at one of the raiders, and it drops dead.

Finally reaching the team, the rear enemies leaped into action, swarming over the group with close combat.

[vs Charcoal: 3] One enemy charges for Charcoal with an axe in his mouth but trips and impales himself on the blade.

[vs Painkiller: 2] Another charges painkiller with a baseball bat, but he loses his footing and falls forward, jamming the weapon down his throat and snapping his neck.

[vs Clockwork: 12 (4 damage)] Another throws a hatchet at Clockwork that cuts sticks into her hoof. (Clockwork - 116/120HP)

[2 vs Viktor: 16 (3+1= 4 damage), 8] 2 combatants charge the sand dog, one with a shotgun and the other with a nail board. The first fires and hits the dog in the chest. The second swings the board and misses, digging the nails into the dirt. (Viktor - 107/120HP)

[vs Novae: 11 (10 damage)] A pony with a crowbar swings and hits Novae in the back of her knees.

[vs Jayne: 5] One swings at the griffin with another crowbar but misjudges the distance and misses.

[2 vs Eve: 10 (8 damage), 15 (3 damage)] Two ponies pounce on Eve and start punching her repeatedly. (Eve - 109/120HP)

[2 vs Tumbleweed: 18 (10+1= 11 damage), 14 (7 damage)] Another pair jumps at Tumbleweed, striking him with a bat and a knife. (Tumbleweed - 102/120HP)

[vs Quiver: 2] Another attacker jumps at Quiver with a sharp stick but misses. The stick gets caught in the ground and impales the pony through the roof of his mouth.

[vs Searchlight: 13 (7 damage)] The last charging attacker fires a shotgun at Searchlight, hitting the ghoul in the leg. (Searchlight - 113/120HP)

The 5 raiders still ahead of the team opens fire again, focusing on the glowing bird over them.

[3 vs Scorch: 6, 9, 20 (4+1= 5 damage) (Cripple roll for Scorch: 20 - no cripple)] Three of the raiders swing their guns up and fire on Scorch. Two miss, but the final enemy sends a bullet through his wing, luckily not impeding flight. (Scorch - 106/120HP)

[vs Painkiller: 7] An enemy pops up to shoot at Painkiller, but hits the dirt in front of the pony.

[vs Novae: 2] The final shooter takes aim at Novae, but misses and kills the pony who just attacked her.

[combat (19+4)-5]Charcoal fires another shot, killing a raider as it pops out of cover.

[combat (1+2) Damage (9)]Scorch attempts to swipe a raider with his claws and misses, hitting the cart.

[Agility 8 (6+2) Combat (7+3) (15+3)]Quiver turns to face the raiders attacking from the rear of the group and lets off two quick bursts form his SMG. As if some sort of miracle, both bursts hit their targets square in their chests.

The shot connects, and the raiders collapses.

[combat 1][8] Jayne Tries to take the crowbar from the pony, and ends up eating it in his blunder

[combat 19]Novae kicks the buck with the crowbar in the jewels.

[combat 17-5] Painkiller manages to get one of his wings over he cover and pierces one raider's skull [agility 7 roll 1+2] His footing is still too terrible to make a follow up attack

[Agility 8; 4+3] [Combat Roll: 13+1, 10+1] Eve swings her forelegs at the two ponies in front of her, the horseshoes spike's impaling the raiders, as she pushes them to the floor, and crushes their skulls with one last blow.

[Tytan]

(8)Clock screams and reflexively fires, missing entirely.

[Agility 8-1] (16/19)Viktor takes the unswung board and breaks it over both ponies heads.

[Agility 10 (6+5)]

Tumble lets out a loud grunt as the two raiders beat and stab him. [Combat 20] He tackles the first raider and sends a hoof through his skull. [Combat 1] He levitates up his shotgun and fires blindly at the knife wielding raider missing entirely he actually fired his weapon so close to his face the recoil gave him a good whack [9 damage] [combat 20] He lets his shotgun clatter to the ground and tackles the knife raider as well having him meet the same fate as his friend.

[D20(1)][D10(4)] Cast Iron fires his rifle only for it to explode. "Scheiße!"

The final two enemies jump out of their cover and start running, darting into the desert as fast as their legs can carry them.
