Shadow pulls out a regular healing potion and gives it to Cherry"Here ya, go sweetheart, drink up."He says worriedly

Cherry drinks the potion.

"Thanks Tumble, ah'm sure that wasn't cheap, so thank ya."

He drops the empty syringe in the dirt. "Don't mention it." He turns towards the city and the sounds of gunfire. "Still need to finish those orders."

"Y-yeah, lets get those done."

Shadow helps her up"How 'bout ya rest? All right, we can deal with that in bit."

"But what about those folks over there need help."

"Just a quick break, while we figure out what's next. How 'bout that, love?"

"All right, ah can do that."She smiles weakly

"Ah knew ya could."He pulls down his mask and kisses her cheek.

She gives him a kiss, then rubs her sore leg.

Ignored, Cast Iron walks away and faces the town, laying down to keep is profile small.

Shadow creeps behind Cast and a tendril taps his shoulder"Hey,
Cast, nice shootin'."

Cherry glides to Shadow and lays down next to him.

[Ironmonger]

He growls. "Zank you, but Cherry still got shot. It is a sharpshooter's job to make sure that everyone else does not get shot."

Shadow grimaces and looks down"No, ah was 'spose ta keep'er safe. That's the whole reason ah came here was ta keep her safe and ah couldn't."

"Shadow, it's not yer fault, ya couldn't of know."She looks at Cast"And the same goes fer you. Ah just got unlucky. that's all."

"But, hun, ah-"

"Sweetie, stop all right? Ah just got Unlucky, and that's that."She smiles"So, come on. Cheer up a bit."She looks at Cast"that is also goes fer ya as well, understood?"

"Yes ma'am."

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal moves into position next to Cast Iron, readying his rifle. "I think we should do the same thing this time. It worked pretty well despite the injuries. Would have worked better if Scorch hadn't been missing like a moron."

"Squawk." Scorch replied indignantly.

Shadow shots a glare at Charcoal"Easy fer you ta say."He looks back at the city rubbing Cherry's back.

[Ironmonger]

Cast Iron growls in frustration in response to Cherry. "I suppose you are right...Zank you..."

He listens to Charcoal. "Aye, but keep ourselves spread out away from eachozer, but not too far."

[perception 6 (10+1)]Charcoal peers through his scope, scanning over the amassed enemies, looking for any that might be particularly dangerous.

Shadow looks at Char"Just tell me who ta light up."He says as he rips his knife out of the ghoul corpse and holsters it.

"What made you guys change your minds to come along, anywho?"

[Ironmonger]

"Zeh fact I get to fight and zat zere might be a revard."

[Guest]

"Shadow's here, because ah am. Ah'm here because of other reasons."

[Scyto Harmony]

"It's fate, I'm telling you! Just wait and see!"

Tumble remains silent not making any remarks on Cherry's reasons.

"Yeah, ah think ah'm just gonna step away from the crazy pony."She shuffles over to Tumble

Clock comments in an off hoof way, "There is no fate, just ponies to blame."

Looking over the fight, Charcoal can see 20 ghouls firing endlessly at the bar. Most of them look like the rabble they just fought, but 5 of them catch his eye as he scans over them.

1) One wears a battle saddle with two rifles and is screaming at the lesser riflemen to flank around the side. (50HP)

2) Another is sitting on a roof near the bar occasionally tossing grenades down, but has yet to actually get one in a window. He doesn't really seem interested in the fight. (50HP)

3) A third has taken 2 of the rabble and charged up to the front of the bar where they are trying to breach the door with a powerful looking shotgun at the ready. (50HP)

4) Another stands beside the third and swings his hoof through the window, slamming a set of spiked horseshoes into the face of a townspony. (50HP)

5) The obvious leader of the group stands at the front of the other rabble, smugly staring at the bar. He is the only one not firing, and on his side Charcoal can recognize the silhouette of an Incinerator. (100HP | Incinerator +2 damage | 2 attacks per round)

[Ironmonger]

"So you zink..." he replies vaguely.

[Guest]

He gazes over at Char. "See anything?"

[Scyto Harmony]

"Come on," He draws his pistol, "Fate isn't going find itself!"

[Tytan]

Viktor rolls his eyes.

[Guest]

He looks at mince expecting the pony to be dead in the very near future.

[Guest]

Shadow spots the leader through his scope and his eyes glow"All right, big ugly is painted. Fire when ready."He whispers to Char.

[Ironmonger]

Cast Iron shoulders his rifle.

[Tytan]

Viktor disappears into the earth in a cloud of dirt.

Cherry ready aims her rifle at one of the ghouls.

Shadow creeps a little closer to get into range and waits for the signal.
