"Scorch flew around the town...he said he didn't see you. I...I would never do that to you Clock," he says, his voice sincere.

"That doesn't sound like a very wide selection."

Clock half gasps half chuckles, "That kinda figures. He was probably looking for me while I was helping Shadow...

I know you wouldn't, but... for a minute I had doubts...

I'm sorry I doubted you."


Viktor grumbles, but remembers that ponies care about manners, "Hello blood pony. Viktor smell puppy. Where is?"

[Guest]

Shadow looks at the bartender"Ah'll have one please*He looks tumble*Want anythin'?"

[Guest]

"Umm yeah. I'll have a water." He floats the bottle of whiskey on to the counter. "How much will you give me for that?"

[CamoBadger]

"Uh...you mean Tiny?" she replied nervously.

Tiny poked his head out from behind the counter at Vik. He nervously walked forward and sniffed at the Sand Dog's feet.


The bartender grinned. "I'll pay ya 35 caps for that." He pulled out a bottle of water and put it on the counter.

"It's okay...I shouldn't have doubted you either. I guess I'm not a very good special somepony am I?"

[Guest]

"Seems fair. How much for the water?"

[CamoBadger]

"10 caps."

[Tytan]

Viktor looked down at the little pup. Memories flooded back from several lifetimes ago. His features softened almost imperceptibly. He reaches into his pack and pulls out a ruby. He offers it to the pup in his open hand.

[Guest]

Shadow looks at the bartender"How much fer the Cola.... Oh, and thank ya fer cuttin' off Blossom earlier, the white pegasus mare. Don't know what kind of trouble she woulda gotten into if ya didn't."

[Guest]

He nods accepting the deal. He floats the water towards himself resisting the urge to dump it's contents on to his head. Instead he unscrewed the cap and took small sips.

[Tytan]

"No worse than me." Clock takes the skewer that had been offered to her. She takes a big bite out of one of the larger and juicier looking chunks. "Mmm. You can even make bloatsprite meat taste nice."

Almost as an after thought she pulled off the smallest piece of meat and threw it over her shoulder directly at Painkiller in a manner that said, 'I know you're here, we're having a moment.'

The pup stared at the ruby for a moment, then looked up to Vik as he wrapped his paws around the jewel.

[Ironmonger]

Cast Iron walks back to the Inn, exhausted from working off his hangover. He lumbers onto the porch and heads for the door with his head hung low due to a lack of energy.

[XT Vengeance]

"Thanks. Um...you want to go inside? I...we still have a room for tonight."

Charcoal notices Painkiller and waves in his direction.

[Tytan]

"Good pup. Is gem." Viktor gently scratched him behind his ears.

[Tytan]

Clock chews the last piece of meat, "Sure. It's been kind of a long day."

[CamoBadger]

Tiny took the gem and wagged his tail as Vik scratched him.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller snaps the meat out of the air, 'Not bad' He thinks to himself. He returns the wave. "Iron, I see you back there, good evening!" He tone not very quiet, "Can you believe the audacity of some ponies? They make such private conversations in public places! Then haven't the manners to even return a greeting when given a salutation. They even throw food at bystanders. Would you lead me inside? You know how I am about being first indoors."

[Tytan]

Viktor almost smiled, "Good. You be good digger. Be good dog. Dig lots of gems."

[Ironmonger]

Cast Iron perks up and smiles slightly at hearing his friend's voice. "Good evening. Aye, vun should have a private conversation in a private place. Few exceptions." he concurs, walking slowly through the doorway.

[CamoBadger]

The pup nodded and stared into the jewel Vik had handed him while Blood Clot watched with a smile.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller follows, "Good night." He says.

Charcoal stands up and holds the door open for the mare. "After you Clock."

Cherry walks down the stairs, with her mane disheveled, and looking very ill she sees Cast and Painkiller"H-hey, y'all seen Shadow? Ah don't know where he is."She asks worriedly

[Tytan]

"Be nice dog for pony. They not all bad." Viktor gave him one last pat before he looked back to Blood, "Thank you. Is good pup. Be nice."

[CamoBadger]

"Thank you, I will," Blood replied warmly.

[Ironmonger]

"Gute nacht, mein freund." He turns to Cherry. "No I have not. I vould offer my help in finding him but I am spent for zeh day." he blinks. "Are you hung over?"

[Tytan]

"Thanks." Clock walks into the room and starts shucking her gear into a corner.
